    Such a smart, thoughtful guy.
Anybody could find themselves lost in the figuring-it-out phases of life and end up without a home.
The podcasts seemed to end in 2023. If you’re out there, Palmer, let us know how you’re doing,

very musch relate to the fear of hell sentiment from having a fundamentalist dad. Hope I never end up homeless, but wish the best for Palmy

I find Palmer to be incredibly interesting. I just watched the video where he got housing. I hope that has worked out for him. I’d like to listen to his podcast. I find these videos in general to be very enlightening and I even recognize other participants. Seattle is such a “small” town.
Side note- I work at the Broadway Market and when watching this realized I think I drove past the filming of this video so it’s kind of crazy to me that I stumbled upon it on TH-cam.

My Dad was an Episcopal priest and also a very dedicated alcoholic. His behavior was extremely unpredictable as he wavered between the enlightened one and the black out drunk. He could be COMPLETELY out of control when he was binge drinking. The contrast between his at home persona/behavior and the side of himself that he showed to his parishioners was extremely different...like Jekyll and Hyde. Living with this hypocritical/violent behavior and moving every four years because his alcoholism and deceit became known made our lives very unstable/scary. I'm not sure how my mother got thought it. In comparison, she was a saint. Having to pretend to the outside world that this man was actually walking his talk was very detrimental to our mental/emotional health. We lived in constant danger of being found out. People who's addictions influence their behavior in such frightening ways and expose their children to it have no excuses. At 77 I'm still feeling the effects.

I love that he says the bus system in Portland is garbage. Tri-Met loves to toot their own horn.
