Wow what an informative and educational interview. Thank you to Pastor Phineas for his bravery, honesty and sharing his story, it really takes a well balanced and emotionally intelligent man to stand in his truth like this. Many people are suffering with undiagnosed mental illness and are not brave enough to get help or even know how to go about getting assistance. We definitely want him back for part 2 of sharing his incredible life unapologetically so. I learnt so much from this episode. Thank you to you too Ausi Promise for always delivering on the juicey content, your podcast never disappoints. Keep up the good work.
akamhle bethuna, the first step of healing is acceptance ,thank u Sir for being vulnerable it's really not a small thing that u have done ,all d best to him and his partner and may all that have been lost be restored ,mind body and soul ❤
"How we can use our marriages to build communities"! Deeply touched. I remember those days - our parents were community builders. So, marriage is very much relevant.
Thank you Moruti waka was also diagnosed with depression in 2022 ..mental health issue is avoided and it's so real I wish we can speak about it more especially in our churches just to teach people that it's treatable and is not demonic..thank you Moruti 🙏🏿🙏🏿

This is very informative interview. My husband always have back pains he even say it himself that he learned to live with the pain but now I'm getting very nervous I wish he could just consult and get help. Being a business man is very hard more especially when things don't go well😢he doesn't sleep at all yooooo
Thank you guys , I think I have same symptoms . I am from hospital lately and they said there is nothing wrong with , but the truth is that I am not ok and don't know where to start.
Wow thank you brother Phineas and promise very informative and educational topic. Most men are not openly expressive about them. May God strengthen and heal my brother
Great and very educational interview, the Pastor come prepared. I would love to see more men in this show, such an informative interview. Keep up the good work Sesi Promise, we love you.
I believe that my dad has an undiagnosed mental disorder. I don't know if it's ptsd, depression or anxiety but he has symptoms that suggest that he is suffering from a mental disorder....that man ruined our lives as a whole family. I only started to understand mental illnesses/disorders over the past recent years and it clicked in my head as I was researching. Most men don't want to seek help or know what is wrong with them and they end up destroying the lives of their loved ones unknowingly.
Thank you so much for your vulnerability sir. When you return for part 2 kindly also talk about 1. How does mental illness affect your relationship with God? And your prayer life? Do you feel like praying? Is your Faith just as strong especially knowing God could heal you if He wanted but He chose not to. 2. When is it mental illness and when is it demonic oppression? 3. How does the church respond to 'Pastor is in a psychiatric ward?' 4. How does your new diagnosis affect how you counsel members of the church? Especially if they are dealing with emotional issues? I ask this because I have noted there are significant differences between biblical counselling and christian counselling. Many non biblical psychologists tend to point to Yoga and other Eastern religion methods while christian counselling tends to point to the bible and sin nature...
I was diagnosed with depression in April, so the psychologist gave me a referral letter because he wanted to put me in hospital for 3 weeks. So for some reason I opened the envelope to see what was written 😮 he wrote " she's showing signs of f32,2" I quickly googled and it said major depressive disorder 😳now I'm on medication, I take lexamil and to be able to sleep I take medication as well, wich I must say it's not easy!
Eish brother that is what i have experienced anxiety and depression but fortunately i was als helped by psychiatric at louis pasture for 21 days because of divorce

We are dealing with a lot, and when we suggest help, we are told we are bewitching them. My husband is going through similar problems
@@mokgadisennya exactly😕 I hope at some point your husband gets the help he needs. If only he is willing to get the help.
Its like you are talking about my father.😢

wow wow, this was so great!
My libido used to be very high, but now with the medication, I'm 2 months without sex and mind you I'm a married woman 😞
One question, how can one be there for a partner or a friend struggling with their mental health 🥺
Eish brother that is what i have experienced anxiety and depression but fortunately i was als helped by psychiatric at louis pasture for 21 days because of divorce
Sneaky has negative connotation Promise, means planning bad behind someone's back. I think the word should be wise, not sneaky
🙏🏿
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Where did you get the money for the phone bill???? Did she give you or u had to workand pay back?
Am sure he was able to pay. $300 was never R10000......
@Lungo, I used the money I saved to pay for that bill😊
Is there anything that can be taken for that lost libido and again does anxiety ever heal or you live with it for the rest of your life?
The medication helps to control the anxiety. Yes there are medication to help with the Libido🙈
Catholics are not pastors but "father" nd again they cannot get married. Just for corrections nd I know from you it was just a question.
Men don't speak that's the reason that's the reason why I clicked 😊
I appreciate the man for coming on the platform to share his story but the interview was boring, lacked structure….wow
