This was easy and helpful, but I'm going to skip the vanilla and add a bit of yellow food coloring and maybe a few drops of lemon extract. But your recipe was a great base for me to start. This is going on top of my mini Lemon Ricotta cakes rather than a dusting of confectioner's sugar. If it's Lemon or Lime, I like the flavor to have a pretty significant "punch".

If you make it thicker, it will not soak in the cake and just sits pretty on top and will still cascade down
Right,I do not like that thick coating on the outside. Crunching on it reminds me of someone scratching a chalk board lol
