- This Part 3, is a 232cc, Taida Build for a Honda Ruckus. This video features the BBK install and rest of the "top end". Taida 2-valve, large port/valve head. This is a great video for anyone seeking to build one or commission me to do a build for them. I list all the parts and components needed for the build, plus I list tips and tricks I learned along the way. This engine has the highly sought after 8.2mm stroker and 67mm piston, external oil cooler, 20 sprag HT starter clutch, etc etc....

Hi Martin, information, I have a kimco agility 150cc year 2008 I can boring the crankcase to mount a 232cc of the taida?
if you have a gy6 engine .. kymvo has its engine not similar to this one
After this upgrade, did you notice any over heating issue?
it's the same engine of gy6 125cc, 150cc and 180cc .. they made the cylinder bigger

im curious does the plastic fan shroud still fit properly on the taller top end? or is there another one taida makes for the 232cc thanks
rodney foster I have a Chinese built motor scooter semi Harley-Davidson 150 motor scooter and it's really snaps off at the red light very fast but I preferred it to 32 on that frame motor size 2 32

Does the B block come on a moped or is it something that you have to make by adding parts
For the GY6, only by adding parts.... some Kymcos have the larger 57mm stud spacing, but all the internals are different and not interchangeable
hi do you need sealer on the timing cover gasket or just the gasket by it self
Everything on the head should have a gasket.
Lol, 67mm bore + Iron valves. They'll be back soon for a head job. Stainless steel valves even go in all my stock engines : For life. They cost as much as a new head, but worth it. I dont do valve springs tho, the hard ones wipe cam lobes too quick imo. Want simple power? Change the final drive gear on a stock engine to a T-38 , 1000rpm clutch springs , + a racing clutch + bell. A stock bore longcase will do burn outs + pull take off wheelies on 13" rims

have you heard of a scooter called the LA fan 150cc that run 60 barely run 60 so I want to know what a 250 high performance scooter motor fit on there really is a 232 will it fit on a frame
the Lifan scooter really got a takeoff at the red light on streets that you have to do 40 and 45 and 50 on it really has a takeoff when the light change I mean jump to 50 is real quick but I kind of prefer that to 32 motor on that frame

You'll need a bore drill to widen the hole, I think the largest that'll fit a standard case is 155cc. You'll also will need a long stroke piston rod for the bigger BBK's. It's a process.

FYI to those who do not know. They GY6 motor is NOT a Honda motor. It's a Chinese nock off. Still a good motor for tinkering with but does not produce the same power as a Honda brand motor.
adam desalvo I have the 150 Lifan motor scooter wants to change it to a 2:32 would it fit on that frame I would I have to do some welding

Он картер не пилил, здесь увеличенное растояние между шпильками цилиндра, вместо 54 мм здесь 57мм. Такие моторы в 8 раз дороже, если покупать целиком, дешевле купить картер, и самому с 157 мотора перекинуть внутренности. Правда коленвал сюда нужно усиленный ставить, родной с 157 мотора быстро развалится.
Есть смысл заморачиваться или нет?
You're skipping over all the important parts for people who don't know how to build these engines. I would like to see you actually installing the parts and not simply what it looks like after they're installed.

The Nut holding the 4 long bolt is too tight. I can see it just by looking at this video that you didn’t use 7 ft lbs on a special torque wrench. When you do this part specifically by hand, the sooner this engine is ready to ride, it will built so many head pressure and spitting out oil, then your gasket between the cylinder and the valve will be broken with the over tightened force.
