You must be in a super good mood as your exceptionally bubbly, so cute. Love that your so real about normal life & gardening. You take the fear of perfect gardening and present it as real life. Been with your channel for 3 years now & love my mornings watching. Also have learned so much, thank you.
Love the berm area and so satisfying to see the pruning back. Overall, video looks and sounds awesome. I did, however, feel when the camera moved around, that it had a dizzying affect. Excellent quality when camera was still. Thank you for the info and the inspo!
I just can't thank you enough of how you have lifted my mood (a prolonged depression era) by watching you, a hardworking mom, entrepreneur, a humble and knowledgeable gardener, and many wonderful characteristics you have..you rise and rise even when life gets hard and have that joy. I love spending time with you Jenny. Thank you so much.❤ Sending love and hugs from another mom of 3 young ones up north Canada. I learnt from you to find joy and retreat to my little garden zone 3, but especially how to carry on after the "storms". So sorry that flash floods happened and took so much inventory away. You are so strong and loved Jenny.
"Grace in Gardening, Friends" ♡ I love that statement! What a great informational video. Thank you for encouraging me to get out to the garden today. The new camera is great. Everything is beautiful!♡
I learned so much from you in this video, Jenny! Especially…”permission to cut.” 😂, and that there is grace in gardening. I love to listen to your “gardener train of thought.” Thanks!
Serendipity! I started my day with coffee and watching you prune knowing I had to go out and deadhead my butterfly bushes and then you showed me the way to do it!! You are appreciated. Love from your recent visitors from Arizona 🍋
That barberry that was partly shaded was a super good example of why they can be green when planted in the shade. I love the orange pillar next to the pugsters!!
This is perfect timing!! My white Daisy Maes have gone completely brown, so now I can confidently cut them back. Also, today is the day I pull out a Weigela shrub that I have tried, and failed, to like for 3 years. Happy sweaty day!!
Thanks, Jenny! It's so satisfying to watch you clean up the garden beds. I'm headed out to cut back my nepeta. It's fun to see different zones. My hydrangeas and budleas are just barely about to bloom. The camera looks amazing. So much clearer, especially on the close-ups.
Thank you! I need to whack back my daisies after the rain splayed them open. They were every bit of 4’ tall!! I wasn’t sure how far to cut them back and now I do! Thank you! As for the camera, I’m getting started in the business of making videos for TH-cam and other platforms to bolster my business and my the nonprofit I work with. This channel has always been one that I have aspired to for video quality. ❤ I have to say that I am experiencing a love hate relationship with this new camera. It was nice to see crisp shots and close ups and it was super helpful for you to be able to zoom in. The auto focus shifted between you and the background quite a bit. When your face was in the shot, it stayed on you, but when you were profile and your hat covered your face just enough, the facial recognition stopped working and the camera zoomed in on the hibiscus in the background. All that is probably just settings and getting accustomed to the new tech. Anytime the camera was being flipped or you were walking, I could see and feel every tiny turn and step. Perhaps with a gimbal and/or tweaking the image stabilization settings this could get smoothed out, but in all honesty it was very Blair Witch Project/Home video worthy. Play around with it and let’s try it again! There’s always a learning curve!
Lol Jenny for the camera, and doing this all by yourself....it was amazing 👏. Thank you so much for sharing this information with us. It is so very satisfying to know that we can apply this wealth of information to our gardens. I have learned so much from your videos, so thank you for that!
Jenny has time 😱 watch out here she’s comes … really Love the camera shots and angles it a more personal connection, great video content as well so needed this as I’m also cutting back my spent flowers. ❤
Love the quality!! I look forward to your videos & check for new ones daily. We live in Boone & I FINALLY made it to your garden center (after wanting to for 3 years) several weeks ago. Loved the experience & talking with Jerry for a bit! Thank you for always sharing!!
Thank you for the info. I am so glad you demonstrated how to cut back Sonia and baptism because I wasn’t sure if I needed to cut them. Today video was very clear. Thursday was pretty dark so this video was much better thank you!
Thank you so much for showing how to prune the shastas and amsonia. I recently cut back my shastas because they were crowding out my beautiful little quickfire. But I didn't cut as far back as you did because I was worried about them surviving in our central VA heatwave. Now I'm going back to cut them back further so I can enjoy more of my panicle. Plus, I am now planning to move them in the fall like you're going to do because they are so massive and definitely breaching 5 feet! Also, I didn't know what was wrong with my amsonia because it was starting to lie down and it's just a first year plant, so now I'm going to trim them back so they can get thicker. I ALWAYS learn something from your videos! Stay cool; we have been having 100+ temps with the dewpoint levels.
I learn so much from you! Watching you work is so inspirational! But... Oh, to be able to squat and sit on my heels like you do! 😳 It's been 50+ years since I could do that, so I have to bend with almost straight legs, head hanging down. I use my rolling garden stool, too! I was a kid with major knee problems, so... Hoping to find a channel as good as yours and Jim Putnam's, designed for handicapped people. Or rather, "differently able-bodied" gardeners. ✨
I love your recommended weeding tool :D Thanks for sharing your approach and reminding us to appreciate garden grace when it comes to this pruning maintenance.
Hi there Jenney: Everything in your garden looks beautiful & colorful so your doing a good job with your camera work & audio is clear. I am going to try applying PREEN to certain areas of the garden as recommended after planting to prevent weeds. My guess is probably I'll have to use your method as well and just go through and remove other weeds that pop through myself. Good to see Niagra Fall grass after it has grown for awhile.. The one I purchased from Creekside Gardens is really taking off well! Thanks very much for your video & have a good week ahead!
Wonderful instructional video, Jenny. I already know of a few perennials that need to be cut back in my garden and I’ll do those as soon as it’s more bearable outside. Video image is much much clearer, the image did seem a bit shaky and less focused when the camera was moving around so this might be a great one to use on a stationary tripod. Hope you’re having a great weekend.
Everything is looking so good Jenny. So happy y’all got some rain. Unfortunately we are in the dry Heat Dome, 100 yesterday with feel like 110! I will just stay inside and watch you guys 😂😂❤
Things are looking lovely at the berm. Camera: Picture and sound quality is great. The rocking while you walked was a little difficult, but that may just be me.
I love garden cleanup, except mine is spent more on pulling weeds. There is something so satisfying about cleaning up the garden, whether it's pulling weeds, deadheading, pruning, etc.
Well, good morning, Jenny garden looks fantastic. Clean up makes it look even greater. Thanks for all of the Helpfulll information camera was great. No problem with it. Have a blessed day the Oklahoma gardener.😊
Brynna is the best. 😂❤ love my GS Sadie Rayne. I absolutely love the clean up and tidy up videos. All that weather missed us in Chattanooga. I was so hoping for some of that rain.
Love the camera quality!! And you are SO cute 😊 "Jenny is glistening" lol Don't everybody hate me for this, but I love the music; think it's too loud, though. I know... probably just me. Most TH-cam vids are like this. Love your content!! ✨✨✨
Thank U for sharing!! Very good information!! I was wondering about my Shasta Daisy’s!! I also love pruning so my garden continues to look beautiful!! I love that U were able to get in close to show the new growth!!😁
Good morning! You look great as usual. I guess I'll email adding more flowers to my bed. The daylillies are just abut gone. I love to hear you say just wack um! The garden looks very nice. Pleas stay cool. We didn't get any rain in Raeford. Fingers crossed for today.
Thank you, Jenny for all the pruning tips! So helpful! As for the camera, I don't mean for this to sound negative by any means. You asked for honest feedback, so I just wanted to share my thoughts. The quality of the picture was very nice. However, I'm not a fan of the background being blurred when you're talking to the camera. But that may just be a setting on the camera, I don't know. I'm NOT very techy!😅 Also, it seemed a bit shaky when you were panning. But I appreciate you trying out new things to bring us the best quality videos that you can! You and Jerry do such an amazing job with your gardens and the videos, and I watch all of them! Blessings from a fellow homeschooling mom!😄
Thank you for this informative video. Also, can you show what you do for your roses . I Have black spot on alll my roses . What do you do for your roses ! Please show mid season care for those as well ! Thank you !
Great video as always. I have been following for a couple of years now and always find inspiration from the videos. I like the picture and sound quality of the new camera but when it was moving it was a bit shaky - made me feel a bit dizzy like I was on a ship!
What a difference the pruning makes, looks so good Jenny. Camera is clearer as well. thanks for the informative video.
I think I felt the whole flower bed breathe! Looks good! Yes, every plant has its time-when it is done, give something else a chance to shine!
You must be in a super good mood as your exceptionally bubbly, so cute. Love that your so real about normal life & gardening. You take the fear of perfect gardening and present it as real life. Been with your channel for 3 years now & love my mornings watching. Also have learned so much, thank you.
It's amazing what cooler temps will do for your mood! 😂
None of your plants have burned, how do you manage plants burning in the sun?
Love the berm area and so satisfying to see the pruning back. Overall, video looks and sounds awesome. I did, however, feel when the camera moved around, that it had a dizzying affect. Excellent quality when camera was still. Thank you for the info and the inspo!
✂️🌳✂️GRACE IN GARDENING‼️✂️🪴✂️
"It's fine. There is grace in gardening." Jenny quote of the day. ❤
Pruning always looks fresh, and gets the garden ready to grow again. The camera is a keeper! Thanks Jenny!
I just can't thank you enough of how you have lifted my mood (a prolonged depression era) by watching you, a hardworking mom, entrepreneur, a humble and knowledgeable gardener, and many wonderful characteristics you have..you rise and rise even when life gets hard and have that joy. Glad you're feeling better!!
Praying that you feel better, depression sucks❤
Grace in gardening. I love that.
Needed motivation to get out in my garden for some pruning - we got rain yesterday! - and this video provided it. Thanks! 👍🙂
I feel the same way after watching Jenny this morning!
"Grace in Gardening, Friends" ♡ I love that statement! What a great informational video. Thank you for encouraging me to get out to the garden today. The new camera is great. Everything is beautiful!♡
You gave me the incentive to get out there this morning before it gets too hot and clean up my flower bed!
As soon as the video started I got out there because it was early and before the rain. Then I came back and finished watching. She’s so inspiring.
Jenny , I luv a good garden cleanup , everything is so beautiful 🏡💚
I was going to comment on the quality of pictures before you asked! Colors and clarity are great!
I learned so much from you in this video, Jenny! Especially…”permission to cut.” 😂, and that there is grace in gardening. I love to listen to your “gardener train of thought.” Thanks!

Camera work was stellar! Nice tight close ups; I felt like I could reach out and touch the plants.
Everything looks so good now that you’ve pruned. It’s always so satisfying when you finish an area. The berm looks so pretty.
Great video! Super helpful. You are so fun and positive to watch. Thank you❤

Once again your berm garden is so lush and colorful. The camera you used today had a very bright, clear picture. The sound was good too. Blessings!
The video was fine. The sound was excellent 👌👍
Loved the nice clear close ups! 📸
You have a faithful companion there. Oh my goodness as I am writing this you said the same. Following you to make sure all is well with mom.

Thanks for showing me it’s ok to just grab & cut, I’m not gonna die & the plant isn’t either 😂
I think the camera worked out great! ❤
Its about time for me to prune my perennial as well. Thanks for the tips.

I like the camera, good quality, handled your different lighting situations well and seemed to do well with distance and close up.

It looks so much better 👌👌👏👏. Now you can see the plants that were covered. Awesome job!
Looked so amazing after all the pruning!!!!❤😊🙌🏻
Your filming looks really good. Also, we weed as we go too. It's so much easier, and it looks neat and tidy, as you would say. 😊 Enjoy your day!
I really enjoyed this video! Thank you.

Camera is really clear and sharp....
Pruning and deadheading makes such a difference. The camera seems clearer but lots of movement making it a bit dizzy. Maybe best used when on stands.

Love the new camera.
