I had a 3 year old half Alaskan malamute half wolf for about a year. I woke up to the sound of bear, (that was his name) peeing on the carpet almost every morning. Months and months of house breaking practices to no prevail. He'd get off his leash and literally be gone for days. Then randomly come back home. His instinct to hunt would be so strong at times, he'd stalk the neighbors pets, wild squirrels, rabbits, etc. She's right. No matter how much you want a wolf to be a dog, they're just not. I drove 10 hours to pick up bear because he was in a free to a good home advertisement. Now I know why... I couldn't give bear the environment God created him to thrive on, so I found him a new home with a nice family that lived on 180 acres of wilderness with a huge pond. He lived out the rest of his life much happier than the 12 months I had him. Very cool to see there are sanctuaries for half wolves, and good, knowledgeable people to help them thrive!

Your Luna looks alot like our Luna. She's allegedly 100% siberian husky, but she's 70 pounds and has the same coat and markings as your Luna. And she has a lot of wolf characteristics, she always greets me at the door with sniffing my mouth and nose, she could care less about snow like a husky. But if I was to guess her wolf content I would say less then 20 percent.

you can visit but first call for day and time
I’ve got a husky and he most assuredly has some wolf in him. Looks exactly like your wolves but weighs about 75lbs. So, I reckon mostly husky.
