I did this in 7th grade (1975) When learning about books. The same principal as the Monks used a thousand years ago. To print the edges of books. Water and oil don't mix Paint). This is amazing out of the box thinking. I have a Auto-body painting background, I can do this. Thanks for sharing! AAASOME !
It's not about the helmet, it's about the graphic transfer technique. Why use multiple helmets when one is all you need to show how it's done and over different colors?

+debbie foster stop using commune sense. you will confuse people.
FirestickisHot What do you mean GG GoPro? That's what they make all the accessories for. Wrap it in their watertight case and you're set. How do you think they film all those diving videos on GoPros?
Im talking about the colours themselves: as they are solid on the material it will be also on the GoPro and the lense is probably full of painting too. IDK how he meant to film it; Like going in the water with the paint on it or filming it from the bottom
FirestickisHot Put the camera in the tub pointed at the surface, apply the film to the water, dip the part. Gets a cool shot of the film stretching and deforming as it conforms to the part.
Can any paint color be used or is it a special paint? Is that clear resistant to washing, sun, cold weather and other elements? I'm interested in doing some on my bike, just wondering how durable this stuff is.
man that is awesome. But a simple question, that how you guys get the printed films, mean do you guys print them by your self or order it from some where?
The dents there to show you it's the same tank , and that there not just editing in a different tank saying it's the same one. It's a killer video , and if you're so busy worrying about the dent and picking the vid apart, you're here for the wrong reason, go to the editing films video's.
Does anyone remember when this used to be called 'Marbling'? So now they take a printed pattern made with specialized transfer water resistant inks printed on a substrate that is dissolved by a sprayed chemical and coat an object with a specialized primer which adheres to the inks floated on the surface of the water. This is my extrapolation of the process displayed here. Am I close enough with this description?
i see you used the same tank more than once. do you have to sand off the pattern or can you just throw a new base color over top it and re dip it, also if i do half a tank one way and then do the other side later is there anything you have to do or after its dry can you just add on to it
guys you are doing awesome graphic can you please share me about your ideas soo that i can enlarge it in our country it will be soo thankful nd helful to me honestly
Step 1: Make Carbon Fiber Hydrographic Step 2: Take a bath in it Step 3: Enjoy your day looking like you were coated in a flexible and durable plastic xD
reminds me a lot of putting on decals on model airplanes. The decals are actually thin paint. Poor dented motorcycle tank. I guess it was cheap on Craigslist to get a dented one than undented? ;)
Curious. Can Hydrographics be used on a multidimensional item such as an Motorcycle dirt bike air box? And I notice that this video shows the graphics all being shown on the same Virago fuel tank. How does the graphics come off an object and would it be safe for use around gasoline and oil? Regards.
I can see all the time the same graphics or patterns, can I get anything I want to transfer to my motorcycle ? like a family picture? or any other design?
The cartoon skulls and arrows looked great!

I first saw this done on a rim on a tv show called Wheeler Dealer and was pretty blown away by this technique. its beautiful.
I like how they keep using the same dented motorcycle tank.
practice, make perfect!
+newvictim you noticed that as well....hahahahahah! On the right front end!!!!!

Oh...yeah. you are right.. I need to stop... :D
4:50 This is amazing stuff! Would be cool to see a poly-carbonate fuel tank with this treatment! Transparent with these designs on the outside!
Dude, you should get a GoPro and put it underwater so that we can see what happens! Just a thought!
GG gopro... but good thought :P
FirestickisHot
What do you mean GG GoPro? That's what they make all the accessories for. Wrap it in their watertight case and you're set. How do you think they film all those diving videos on GoPros?
FirestickisHot
They actually have cases so you can get to waterproof them. So it would be doable.
Im talking about the colours themselves: as they are solid on the material it will be also on the GoPro and the lense is probably full of painting too. IDK how he meant to film it; Like going in the water with the paint on it or filming it from the bottom

I heard of this stuff now I understand how they do the carbon fiber look.Thank you HG Arts
Thats just beautiful. Total insane.... I btw love the operator have a breathing mask on, but dips his bare arms in the paint :)
The catalyst he sprays on would dissolve his lung tissue the moment it entered his lungs but is benign to skin.
Gerald Too What? it doesnt desolve lung tissue or i should be dead. We wear a mask because its a class III flamable and cuases you to cough a lot.
Amazing, all the pains of yesteryears gone in seconds, wow
its pritty incredible, i have seen it a dunch of times but still cool
this is a great video, props to the producer and music composer!
I don't know why but... I really enjoyed watching this lol.
Damn you guys are amazing with helmets ..so tough getting it dipped just right .. Great work:)
the oranges patern is sick...I love this method
The technique is so amazing. Hope to experience it someday.
I find this process amazing
Love the diamond plate. Can you dip my house!
outrageous ,,,, some great ideas , fantastic results too.
Why do you not answer anyone's questions? You are missing lots of sales!
Really Cool that something you don't see everyday
Can't... stop...watching...
Love the skulls. ❤️ maybe with a flame background!!! Awesome 😎
The inventive genius, the higher intelligence that is exclusive to people of Northern European descent.
vraiment awesome !
la perfection ! j'adore :)
how about no music and someone explains the process.
That's awesome! Do you clear the finished product?
YOU ARE GENIUS!! I love your paintings! :P
What material was used to sculpt the large relief skull heads? Was it Bondo?
Thank you, great and interesting video, really cool and innovative.
rotflmfao!!!! Now this is just plain cheatin'!! Absolutely brilliant, in every sense of the word!!!
Great stuff!!!
THANK YOU!!!!!
whoaaaah!!..thats an impressive technique
So cool! I like the sculls at 7:53 ... awesome!
gotta like the carbon fibre design =)
that was amazing who came up with the process ?
what's the point of gloves if he gets it all over his arm?
krandaman1 I think it's so no paint attaches to his hands and then to the piece he's holding to dip it in.
So it want slip!!!!
krandaman1 its so he doesn't get oil on the product I think
+krandaman1 So that he doesn't leave fingerprints behind
To keep from contaminating the piece with oils from his skin.
How long does this coating last? Any special care instructions to maintain it? Pretty cool.
yoooooo that was fresh i might do hat when i get older

Most satisfying video!!!
Me encantaría saber cómo funciona. El proceso ya se ve genial.
Incrível..............parabéns!
Pretty nifty although I'm wondering how you got the flaming heads done on the water pre printing
I LOVE the music, where is it from
I like the background music!
very nice working
Do you lacquer it afterwards?
Can any paint color be used or is it a special paint? Is that clear resistant to washing, sun, cold weather and other elements? I'm interested in doing some on my bike, just wondering how durable this stuff is.
That is incredible!!
Brilliant video all the best
You Are A Great Artist In What You Do,I,m What You Say So Ahhhh.
man that is awesome. But a simple question, that how you guys get the printed films, mean do you guys print them by your self or order it from some where?
Cool method... The distortion sometimes makes it look amateur especially with the carbon fiber graphics. But overall pretty damn good.
Looks good. But how would you line up a decal? I'd rather vinyl wrap. Water basted products don't work well under uv light.
Which product is the one you spray at 0:26??
Really good work!!

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST AND DO YOU NEED TO DO ANYTHING TO KEEP IT LOOKING GOOD AND ABOUT HOW MUCK DOES IT COST?
wow...!!!!...carane piye iku cak....bahan tinta/cat nya pake apa??
Awesome! Thanks for sharing!!

really satisfying
what kind of material is made this film? Can be printed any art?
And this jet of air that you applied early in the process, is some glue?
so question do you empty out that tank and flush in new liquid for each use or do you just siphon off the top?
There' s a dent on the tank!
i see you used the same tank more than once. do you have to sand off the pattern or can you just throw a new base color over top it and re dip it, also if i do half a tank one way and then do the other side later is there anything you have to do or after its dry can you just add on to it
That is really awesome. You need a machine that does the dipping though.
+Fuzzy Johnson
OK, sorry. There is one. Hadn't gotten there in the video yet. :)
This What We Better To Seek On TH-cam
Can this process be layered? For example, have a coating of the Carbon fiber effect and then the flame layer over top of it?
The think that you sale in the web,is it like this and great job
So whats the average cost and how well does it stay on?
COOOOOL COOOOLLL COOOOLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i want to do this with my bike !
Los tiempos avanzan que es un primor.

Claire, good idea. I just uploaded a video of our Web Offset Printing Plant tour on my channel too! Thanks!

What temperature of water you used? Can you provide the materials needed .like what type of spray is it..
That is dope!
Wie genial! Aber was heißt denn Activator?
WOW, that's amazing !
Are they using the same fuel tank? I noticed they all have the same dent on the side.
wet tank & press & hold for 30 sec lol it like's temporary tattoos. pretty cool idea. i wanna use it on everything lol
where I can get these templates, thank you.
I live in Colombia
I'm about to do hydro dipping for the first time Ina few days wish me luck
it is cool because you can do own design and will not pay for very expensive custom spraying
I love this this in my future job
awesome stuff!!!
