Great video. For any one trying this put a cloth over the lower controls so you don't end up scratching them to bits. Also be very careful not to loose any screws down the console. Use a hand screwdriver 🪛 for more control. Finally wrap cables in foam if possible so you do not end up with a rattle when re assembled.
Great video, definitely very helpful. I just wanted to point out when using the heat shrink connectors, make sure you heat them up long enough for the solder in the middle of the connect to actually melt so that you solder the two wires together, same for the the other ends of the connector that is an adhesive that needs to melt so that you can guarantee your connections will not come loose over time or under tension.
How’s this working for you 6 months later? Does that modified harness wiggle or stick out a lot? Worried for like dust getting through if I do the same modify 🤙🏼 ty
Over all rating 8 out of 10. The biggest issue I find is if two people are driving the car that’s connected to the Bluetooth can cause some issues but if it’s just you solo, you get to go. Also, with the modified harness it fit perfectly everything was labeled and a smooth process.

@@JimmyGfit thanks, will be doing this shortly in mine 🙏🏼
Can bring my car to you to get that installed
lol maybe
Can that radio be installed in a 2020 NV3500?
Probably only difference will be adapter to connect from car to stereo. You’ll probably have to look at the make and model radio adapter.
What radio did you replace with?

Only came to see how you got the front panel off. Not sure why you'd skip the first step.
Sorry about that, if I recall I don’t think it was too complex
@@JimmyGfit it wasn't I just pulled it and it came off. I was too scared I would break something but it was fine.
@@alistairmonro nice bro! Hope it all turned out well!
