    This video is useful so i feel obliged to chime in. I swapped out the Clarion PN-3089L which is the stock system in the base 2015 NV200. I used both these wiring harnesses that I purchased from Amazon. I had to quadruple check that wiring scheme because it doesn't look like it matches the wiring harness at all. BUT if you look at the video around 3:25 you can see the stock harness. look at those wires and if it looks close to yours, it will work. I am now running a Sony DSXB700 without any issues. thx for the video

    I'm going to attempt to try and replace the 12-volt in mine I also own a nv200 and I'm quite fond of it. Thank you for showing me how to open the panels I probably would have ended up breaking something

    Carol. My dash lights for the a/c do not work in 2015 NV200 at night. Should I change fuse or bulbs in dash?? What fuse or what bulbs?? Please advise??

    I attempted to run a small appliance from a 150 watt inverter plugged into the 12-volt. The appliance was only 96 watts and didn't consume too much for the inverter to handle. I don't know what wrong the inverter burnt-out I'm assuming because it was pretty old. However, I don't understand why the 12-volt port is no longer operational. I checked all the fuses. Examine the port. Haven't had a chance to take a look at the interior to see if the wires were burned. since the fuses are fine and the port doesn't seem to be damaged, do you have any diagnosis?

    Great video. I am planing to install a head unit with CarPlay on my 2013 Nissan nv200 but have some questions and or doubts. What head unit would you recommend and also not too clear about the steering functions. Do I need a specific harness? Please advise. Thanks

      Any standard head unit will do. I had an android joying from Amazon. It worked great. The steering wheel controls are simply two wires. Sadly I totalled this car in this video... So no more videos for this car.

      I have no rear speaker, but i did install the sub and amp. I'm not a pro installer so I just have them on the floor.

      Thanks for the quick reply! So I have the nav deck, any ideas how to bypass and use with a sub or new speakers? Your deck is aftermarket huh?

    im worried about not having two harnesses...

      I think it's just plug it in, however there is a bluetooth module that is on the passenger side on the bottom; i dont' know if you will need that, too.

    I have hooked up back up camera but it stays on continuously... is there a reason for this?

    • @carolcheny
      @carolcheny 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You need to use a wire to turn it on and off. Usually people use backup light wire r that.

    What wire do I connect my aftermarket head unit ground cable to?

    • @carolcheny
      @carolcheny 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      find a metal screw or something. or, you should be able to find a ground black wire somewhere.

    • @jeffwagg

      That was a bear - I did find a screw, but it was a pain. It's important though.

    Hi Carol, what about the microphone? how do you wire that?

    • @carolcheny
      @carolcheny 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have a bluetooth unit and the mic has too many wires for analog, so I think it's some sort of digital signal but couldnt' figure it out. :( It seems to be a common problem with factory mics.

    • @carolcheny
      @carolcheny 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      i got them from two places. Chilton (the colors are wrong) and qualityservicemanuals.com (colors are correct for the most part, but i think some pinouts are missing.)

    what model joying radio? do you have link for it? any harness kits needed? thank you.

    • @carolcheny
      @carolcheny 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Joying radio comes with a bracket but I didn't use it at all. Joying 7" head unit. NV200 is standard double DIN, nothing is needed to install.

    is this on a 2016 or 2017. will wire harness be the same

    • @carolcheny
      @carolcheny 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      2016. there's no reason for Nissan to change harness. 2017 merely added standard hill assist and power locks.
