Looks like a great month of reading ahead ❤
I think so too!
Great video! Loved it ❤
Great TBR! I'm prioritizing a non-fiction book in January that my friend published last year called A Woman's Right to Choose. It's about the history of pregnancy testing!
Ooh sounds interesting, let me know if you'd recommend it!
I was so disappointed by The Wolf and the Woodsman, but I hope you find more enjoyment out of it. Definitely a winter read!
I have heard this from a few people, so I'm thinking I won't like it too, but stil want to give it a go!
Great tbr. And thanks for your honesty.😊❤
Thanks for watching!
What a good TBR for january, I love a mix of genres! Right now I'm reading The snow child by Eowyn Ivey. It's been sitting on my bookshelves for a few years now so I thought I better get to it before winter is over. Also looking forward to finally reading Yoko Agawas latest book Mina's matchbox, I have high hopes for this one since I've loved her other books! ☺
I really enjoyed The Snow Child. Great at show casing life in Alaska too.
I have a feeling that you are going to love The Overstory! I read it in 2024, and while it is dense the way he weaves all the different characters together is incredible and it inexpressibly changed the way I view the natural world! (Trees were already my Roman Empire but I think about them even more after reading The Overstory 😂)
I feel like i'll love it too! I love trees haha
I started reading The Magic Mountain by Thomas Mann for a book club i just joined and Enter Ghost bc of you! So far both have been great, interesting reads. I started a new class however so I'm not able to read them as much as I'd like to.
That's awesome!
I’m buddy reading Our share of night by Mariana Enriquez. It’s a big book and I’ve had it for ages 🤩
I'm intimidated by this one, but I want to read it one day!
@ it’s good but gory in parts
Loved the vid. Can’t wait for your vlogs.
Yay! Thank you!
Hi, what a good TBR for January! I enjoyed watching with my best friend! My best friend saw your new upload and called me over and said come and watch Lyd’s new video with me! I went and watched with my best friend. The books sound really interesting!
Oh thank you!
Isn’t nocturnes the short story collection? I think the one people are divided on is the unconsoled!
Ooh I think you're right!
I'm focusing on a short book January. So I have Call of The Wild, After August and Slaughterhouse 5. (Dresden bombing a crime against humanity)
I recenty read Playground. Liked some of it but I felt Power messed with the reader a little too much. I will await your verdict on Overstory.
Finishing the month with The Honjin Murders. I don't usually read crime.
Thats a fun idea for January, maybe i'll do that next year!
I thought the Godfather was a TBR jar pick too?
You're right it was!! And that worked out pretty well
