congrats on 5k!! 🎉 i was in the live when you announced the channel (proud subscriber 112) and it’s been lovely to see it grow and all the opportunities you’ve gained along the way! I only read 1 book in 2023 but I am about to surpass my goal of 20 for 2024 thanks to your videos, which have definitely motivated me and helped to keep myself bookishly accountable🥰

My friend bought me a kindle for my birthday a couple of years ago. I hate e-readers. I never used it 😅

I cringe when i remember that i used to ship them bc of the out of character fanfics i used to read hahahha. like sure his parents suck and he was raised that way but he also made some pretty disgusting decisions on his own :) and thank you for your HP disclaimer at the start! so many creators will just randomly talk about the series sometimes and i can't tell where they stand!

oh my............ I have so many tote bags and because they're meant to be "green", i now only buy them now if they're something i REALLY REALLY love since their intention (in my experience) is to stop an abundance of bags hahhaa

You are a wicked temptress. I’m already tracking the states my books are set in and doing a number of reading challenges that have special journaling. Now, all I can think about is doing your lovely journal as well. BTW. I think I have the same scrapbooking set you were using. What type of glue did you use?

Book tokens have such a bad reputation but I think they are ideal gifts for bookish people. With a token, no need to worry about giving a book they have already read/own/already decided not to read. I'd much rather have a book token than have to pretend I haven't read something/be interested in reading something I have no interest in reading (which I have had to do on more than one occassion).

On the topic of book pillows, Book Beans by indie companies like Book Beau might be a better option. They're smaller, they're super comfortable. The only issue is because it's a small company, they don't have a HUGE selection of covers available at any given point, but I'm so happy I bought mine.

Some great ideas there! I visited a shop recently and saw the book nook building things for the first time. I was amazed by the intricacy and the detail. They do look pretty irl but you’d definitely need a certain level of crafting skill 😅

Idk if you got rid of it by now but I ADORED the night circus. It got me through covid and is one of my all time favorite books. It’s very much vibes and atmosphere over plot. That’s part of why I adored it, I used it as escapism and would daydream about walking through the circus myself.

physical reading journals are so fun! i have one too, but i group countries by continent bc it makes it so much easier to memorize where they are! i don't journal in general, but i draw and do collages in my sketchbook sometimes, and buckling paper has always irritated me until i started using two sided tape for collages instead of glue. it can be tricky to line the tape with the corners of pretty paper, but for me its worth it. no buckling in my sketchbooks!

This is such a wonderful idea! The journal looks really cool and well it's in green so already a winner in my opinion. I myself do not journal in general since my thoughts are too inorganized to pen down. I will end up with a mess for sure. You have made it so pretty. A few people have mentioned they are not able to get the book in their country (so far I know about Norway and Sweden, and maybe Germany?).
