Great video, had a crash recently and have replaced video feed cable and nimble control cable. could not calibrate compass at all after replacement of cables. managed to get my hands on a demagnetiser, followed the steps in the video and all sorted with compass calibration. is there any advise you can offer on "image transmission error" 0x800000. No video feed and memory card is also not recognised. gimbal status also says disconnected however gimbal is on and centred. Please help if you can. thanks
That error is sadly a damaged core board error... the way I know is that you're saying the memory card is not recognized... that is straight on the coreboard... sorry man
Great tip... Thank you Any suggestions for fixing the aux/led white landing light on the MA 2. Mine stopped after a hard fall brushing a tree. I replaced the small led module ( only mounts with two small screws) not sure why it doesn’t get power? The light does not respond to the controller on off or auto settings.
@@InfinityDrones yes my son had a really bad crash him & his friends. Now it won't let me take off or do anything keep saying compasses inconsistent. ReCalibrate it then it's say something about EFK & spent crazy outta control
Dankie man! Ek gaan dit n shot gee. My Mavic air 1 gee my altyd die probleem en het nou al gedink om maarnet te upgrade en n beter drone te koop want ek kan nie meer so aangaan nie.
No it won't. Your motors have magnets in them and will always be magnetic. Demagnatizing can also be seen as DeGuss. Think back to old TVs that had static on them and when you moved your hand over the surface it tickled your fingers, but only did it for a short while because the energy moved from the screen to your hand. Same idea applies here. Your are just removing the magnetic engery from the place where it's not supposed to be.
Great video, just the information I've been looking for!
Awesome! So happy I could help. Hope some of my other videos can help you too.
Very useful info for drone owners, thanks for sharing 👍
Glad you found it useful! Thanks for kind words.

Sorry to hear about your issue... but sounds like you'll need to send it in. Sounds like something came off..
Did you fix it
Can I do the same in my phantom 4 pro?
Yes, I've done it on quite a few phantoms
Can i do this with a arris m900
Worth a try, but I've not heard anyone needing to do it on the Avata 2. Did you have a bad crash?

@@NhPete If the calibration didnt work then you have a hardware problem, sorry man

Yes man. Ek hoop dit help jou. Onthou om ook die IMU te kalibreer.
how if we rotate the demagnetier CW ?
Sorry I do not understand? What do you mean? The orientation of the demagnetizer does not matter.
Won’t that demagnetize the motors??

Never thought about the sub in the boot...
Yup. Big ass magnet! lol
