My 2018 JL doesn’t have that low pressure reservoir. I only have 1 which is the one you’re replacing. I think the base connector at the very center bottom is leaking, I lost like 3 gallon of coolant within seconds somewhere. It was the only spot that was wet (which was a bit confusing since I missed a couple of times during the refilling) but around the engine bay I couldn’t locate a leak, not even the ground. So frustrating but I am still searching. Assuming this part would be one of the cheaper fix. Saving your vid. Thanks
Here in San Diego I already had to replace the overflow tank 3 times. Mainly because after about 6 months, my reservoir begins to leak from between the cracks of where the two pieces of the reservoir meet. Very strange right ?
This is where I found mine is leaking too, and Jeep has now almost 80k miles on the odometer. It losses approximately 1qt of coolant in a month as a result. I wonder if maybe a washer inside where the two pieces meet has to be replaced, or is it maybe a loose fit, or cracked piece…haven’t had a chance to do a close inspection but I see drops of antifreeze down there. Is the reservoir replacement a good option if it’s going to start leaking in another several months? I see the price of the new reservoir is around $50, and a gallon of coolant is $20
I hope you didn’t it’s just one screw holding the bracket,,, loosen the hose on top just from the reservoir and under just pull the pin back you don’t need to remove that lower hose. As far as the mount he bent it’s literally the two screw on the top or bend it your choice.
Just a quick tip; the coolant bottle sits in a cradle--it's MUCH easier to first remove the two bolts that hold the cradle arms FIRST and then you can remove that pesky hard to reach bolt holding the bottle.
I’m about to replace my tank, being in Arizona it’s making it hard to want to die in the heat to do this lol I appreciate this video so much! Is there anything you would have done differently?
Thanks for filming this, i have same problem. Does that tank take the same type of coolant? Was thinking ill try to temporarily put some more in before repair, hopefully enoughr will stay in the tank for the meantime
I was looking at mine and the same thing low coolant and it is cracked in the same place, who knows how long it has been like that. FML Jeep needs to step up their game.

I'm about to replace my second one in 20k miles. Both of mine are also between the seam of the two parts.

Thanks so much man. That thing is unreasonably hard to replace lol. Hopefully they make them so there’s no leaks from now on
Thanks for the video. I’m going to have to replace mine in my 2020 Gladiator. Hope it’s as easy as you made it look.
Hopefully I can replace my. I was thinking about going to my mechanic.

What coolant brand did u use
How much coolant did you need to add afterwards? I’m tackling this on mine within the next day or two.
Did you have a P023B check engine light that this cleared?

All you have to do is take the two bolts off the bracket and the whole thing lifts up.
That seems like a common issue, mine has the same problem
Thanks
