On public roads they flash amber to warn others of their oversize, in a battle zone they lose the warning lights & hi viz, and can wear extra camo if needed.

Spear /armour , firearms / more armour Machine guns / Tanks Tanks /Anti tank guns Reactive armour . Reactive armour / APFSDS ammunition Chobham armour ....and so it goes on .
Not in these trucks. These are from 19 Tank Transport Squadron, 27 Regiment RLC, based in Bulford. But yes, most tank transportation these days is civilian contractors in civilian trucks.
They're operated by a civilian company, FTX Logistics Ltd, most days, and by soldiers, 19 Tank Transporter Squadron, during wartime, deployments, and during increased movements where more hands are needed. They have MoD regs they can switch to.
going to be interesting to see how those trucks run on batteries with the EU parliament bringing in a law this year that mandates all trucks be net zero 🙂 oh wait the military has already been exempted from this law
