Thanks for the review. I own the exact same watch. I bought it new about a year ago, and shaking it doesn't produce any noise whatsoever. I assume you aren't the original owner. Somewhere along the line it's received a violent shock that would account for the noise when shaking it. It's a stunning watch in person, and deserves to be put back in order.
I rarely comment on videos, but this time I have to: Your watch reviews are authentic and very enjoyable. Additionally I very much like the way you present each watch and show us how the watch could feel like to own and wear. Thank you very much for these amazing reviews!
"It's a killer watch" I would say "overkill", what a watch 😮😮😮 I swiss so noway I am spending that much on a german watch 😅 😅 but I have to admit that finishing dial/case/movement is the best in business, end of discussion 😊 Nice abd honnest review
Amazing review and loved the comparison with the Lange 1. I love Lange and was considering a Lange 1; however, it feels and looks too small to me. I think I will have to save a little extra for the Grand Lange 1
Thanks for reviewing! I consider to buy this watch soon. But really concern shaking sounds…. Did you talk to boutique or costumer support about this matter? Is this purpose for design ?
This concept breaks down when you travel between regions that switch Daylight Savings Times on different dates. So for about a month a year, the complication is misleading when traveling between the US and Europe.
@@RedDotWatches Of course, you can address it. But then you're wearing a $40K watch that 'lies' to you. Time and time zone don't line up. I know it's not a huge practical issue but more a philosophical one. Does the concept of the watch line up with reality? Until there's no more DST anywhere in the world, we should stop putting time zone names on watches, for that reason. I realize, that's an extreme view, of course. It just kills that particular kind of watch for me and I am sad Lange doesn't do a more conventional GMT.
No watch should rattle. It's probably the timezone wheel. Lange is interesting similar to Breguet. But the cases are simply too bulky, and designs very old fashioned, for a modern watch. Giant date window is another ugly feature. Finishing is beautiful, as we all know. Smart thing to do is get it insured, and then arrange a archieluxury-style "burglary" so you can cash out of this shitter.

Just beautiful.
Very well done review! Not only tech-features but more the experience of living with the watch. Please do more videos like that :)
Thanks - i’m currently working on a review of the Summer Blue -Omega Seamaster 300M diver. Will try to keep making more vids 🙏

That rattling would drive me crazy. But it's a beautiful watch!
Yes - seeing the comments, i’m leaning towards taking it in to Lange before my 2 year warranty next month.

I have not talked to customer support but when you try it on shake it like I did, I think you’ll get the same issue.

I always check the daylight saving feature and just press and move the city ring one less time if required.

I get upset scratching a $200 watch let alone a $28k watch.
Too big
