    Shaiapouf is at once fantastical and realistic. Every single one of his rationale and sentiments make perfect sense. The bipolar nature of thoughts, the unresolvable contradicting nature of feelings.
    The anime especially paid lots of attentions to the royal guards, they got the royal treatments basically.
    Some segments of the guards in the anime is really amplifying and enhancing the manga. I love how beautiful and fluid is Youpi's motions. It takes so much time to animate Youpi and his raids, his transformations, movements, shades, expressions.
    The animators love Youpi and Pouf as much as a hardcore fan. 😂

    Netero's casual point backwards letting Gon know where his "prey" is waiting is so funny. Probably the only adult who does not fear Gon's growing ferocity.

    • @CR-hj2hk
      @CR-hj2hk 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      Yeah 😅I mean that's the only reason he was accepted in the extermination team to begin with, so Netero is just satisfied to see that Gon is on the 'right' track for this and he's also definitely one of the few who can understand the craziness of going after an opponent who could one-shot you easily 99% of the time... Netero has seen enough of Gon to understand that much, despite the fact that the last time he saw him was Gon being KO after Pitou's attack on Kite
      Netero's decades of experience gave him this aptitude to assess someone's character/potential very quickly... so cool

    No battle arc in another shonen meets the raw depth and complexity and intricacy of this, I think. It's really something special and should be celebrated. Enjoy it, king.

      @@tng2022 You make great points but it's really not that deep imo. A lot of Hxh is still very much a celebration of shounen with Togashi being a DB fanboy. Also One Piece & Bleach have similar arcs.

    30:10 while I agree with you here I think it is also the main reason many people don’t like Pouf. They want to get to the action and have no patience for the complexity that is Pouf. They don’t want to explore it with the fight vs Pitou and Meruem so close

    Ikalgo said : " You owe me one" in the manga.
    It means : " should have sticked to the plan yo. Should have let me handle it. But I FORGIVE YOU. Your secret is safe with me. "
    That's why Killua felt so relieved after hearing that.

    • @mrstarker
      @mrstarker 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      He also said "You owe me one" in the anime. It was just mistranslated.

    • @byrcust1858
      @byrcust1858 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's up to interpretation really. In japanese what he says is "Kashi dazo", which literally just means "Debt is".
      Some translators interpreted it as "I owe you one", others as "You owe me one" whatever the case is, it's not very clear.
      By how the scene goes, and how direct Ikalgo is saying it, I'd personally assume the actual intention is "I owe you one", that's how japanese usually works, but like I said, it's not very clear.

    • @mrstarker
      @mrstarker 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@byrcust1858 It's not really up to interpretation in Japanese. In English translation, it might be ambiguous, but it pretty much can only be understood as "you owe me one" in Japanese. This is precisely why there have been discussions about this line in the manga among Japanese readers -- you would normally expect Ikalgo to say "I owe you one", but he said the opposite.

    • @mrstarker
      @mrstarker 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@byrcust1858 I think what confuses some people (and why it's an easy mistake to make for a translator) is that the word is directional -- the verb 貸す means to lend out and 貸し is likewise something that you have given or rented out. For example, あいつには貸しがある can pretty much only be interpreted as "this guy owes me", not the other way around.

    • @byrcust1858
      @byrcust1858 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@mrstarker You have it completely backwards, japanese is far more ambiguous because it can lack the subject and be completely context based, like in this case.
      Like I said, the line in japanese is "Debt is" ant it's up to you reading the context to interpret that.
      In the japanese community, the most prevalent interpretation is that "Kashi" is being used as a substitute for "Arigatou".
      This is because in the manga, the word Kashi is being used with 「」which is used to quote but there's no Kashi that makes sense to quote. With the context of the scene in hand and knowing past information, for the most part they think that the Kashi quoted is actually making a reference to the Arigatou they promised to not use with each other, that's why it's written like that. Knowing that, the sentence should be taken as a "I owe you one" or "Thank you" in a convoluted way. Basically Ikalgo is telling to not worry about it, that he is not going to take it badly and they aren't going to stop being friends because of it, even though they both know that what he did is insult to Ikalgo.

    • @Eggnoug
      @Eggnoug 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +13

      @@UltimatePower01 I interpret it as Ikalgo seeing Killua helping him instead of sticking to the plan, which gives the idea that Killua couldn't trust Ikalgo to handle himself against the soldier ants. I'm sure Ikalgo recognized that it was a kind act for his sake but everyone had agreed and trusted each other to follow through with their roles in the invasion.

    • @CR-hj2hk
      @CR-hj2hk 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +15

      The translation is a choice, the JP sentence is actually ambiguous, literally "this is a debt" ('kashi dazo") so it could be 'my debt' or 'yours' ...Idk if the ambiguity is intentional but my interpretation given the context is that Ikalgo is making that mistake a simple matter of transaction so Killua wouldn't think too much about it and feel guilty, that's why he was able to refocus himself on his role
      Killua truly pulled a Gon here 😅feelings taking over reason... Ikalgo could totally find an excuse to pass those 2 guards, for ex saying that the enemies attacked him and ripped his wings and send those 2 ants on their traces knowing they wouldn't be an issue for Gon&Killua, and so the Welfin suspicion wouldn't have happened ...so Killua really made a mistake here (and actually Ikalgo could even feel offended that Killua assumed he needed that help) so Ikalgo's words here imo were meant to reassure Killua that everything was ok

    Pouf never used his ability on Pitou in the beginning. Anime again changed scene in the beginning of the arc and made it look like Pouf have used his spiritual message but in fact he just easily predicted what Pitou thought about and stopped her. Their dialogue in manga was quite different

      I don't think Netero cares much about what is " wrong".
      I mean it is not his choice, he just adds a little fuel into the fire.
      He simply does not care, it has nothing to do with him.
      Netero operates in grey areas. Right and wrong in the norms of morality is not applicable to any character in HxH.
