I've got a Speed and Strength mesh jacket that has a quilt zip in liner. I also have a Speed and Strength armored hoodie.

Nice. A hoodie would be a good thing to have in my arsenal...

You can replace the back armor with Forcefield type 001 armor and limbs with SAS-Tec armor too.

Thanks for the recommendation. I ve got to get something that can breath better for sure. Right now, if the trails get sweaty I'm usually going down to a T-Shirt to fight the heat. Great video. Shout out to the cows, lol.

That's how I use to roll all the time but a mesh coat is the way to go. Now I feel naked without one even on the really hot days.

I have it, just replaced the pads with some high quality certified parts. It vents great.
on cold mornings I use a wind breaker underneath which I remove as the day gets warmer.

learned my lesson a long time ago. Road rash on gravel sucks.

Man, nice jacket, I live in Arizona it's still over 100 degrees here, no jacket required !

Yikes, yeah I'm not sure even mesh would keep you cool in that heat.

I'd recommend you upgrade the protections that come on this jacket, there are some CE level 2 at very decent prices that work on those jackets. Just my $0.02.

What's the advantage of the CE level 2 over the stock pads?

How do you feel the mesh would do in preventing road rash? Or is just the Cordura the only abrasive part? Thank you
