A very enjoyable concert! Particularly liked Bindumalini, Bahudari and Ahirbhairav. Outstanding percussion support from Thiruvarur Sri Bhaktavatsalam (Mridangam) and Vaikom Sri Gopalakrishnan (Ghatam)! What an arresting thani! Thanks for sharing.

Also, the mike volume is more for pakka vadhyam than the main artist . we cud hardly hear Nagraj Sir's violin sometimes when mridangam was played simultaneously.

With great respects to Mridangam Maestro Bhaktavatsalam Sir, I feel atleast for the pibare rama rasam ,mridangam has to be a bit toned down . This raga and keerthana is predominantly a bhakti pradhana raaga and also very calm n mild.

I totally agree.. The volume of Mridangam is high throughout the concert

I agree with Sampath's view. The Mridangams' sound was very disturbing during the Pibare, leading to not enjoying the melody of the song. May be an issue of recording ... I was fortunate to see video & my mother enjoyed alot..Thanks for sharing.

+HULIKAL SAMPATHKUMAR VEDANTA DESHIKA Agree with you. It was not only the volume, but the way he played was very disturbing to listen for this composition.

Pranav Balakrishna : There’s nothing wrong/offensive in his comments.. He expressed what he genuinely felt (not for the heck of it). That’s freedom of expression..

Can we try not to maaaar the wonderful performance of the musicians with those sponsers banners blaring at you...
atleast in classical concerts teh organisers can be a bit discrete and pay tribute to the musicians talents..
