    Years ago, I watched City crews remove a tree outside of my office along the street. The parking places had been marked "no parking tree removal" for many days.
    The morning of the tree removal, someone had parked right under the huge tree.
    City Forester Crews worked throughout the day ....completely removed the tree and left around 3 pm.
    At 5pm, the car owner arrived to find his car covered in sawdust with not even a tree stump beside it.
    So funny!

      In my city, first they'd ticket the car for parking in a no parking zone, then have the car towed by a private towing company at the owner's expense. All in all, it would cost the car's owner upwards of $400 or more.

Plus when collecting they run his records, and if he owes any fines he has to pay up before collecting. Then once he goes there the car will be given a safety inspection, and, unless it is perfect, he gets another set of fines, and then has to first pay them plus storage again, and then remove it on a lowbed, and go and get a roadworthy done on it, and pass, before he gets to drive it again. I am a crane operator, and often work with local tree surgeons when a tree cannot just be "dropped". It was a pleasure to watch you do your job, of which you are a master. Yes, in my younger days I cut dangerous trees for a living and some neighbours were just so awkward it was unbelievable.
      On one occasion, about 6 weeks after we had to take one particular beech down, tiny pieces at a time because of the neighbour, the same neighbour (after finding out how cheap we were) called us in to take a similar tree down in their garden.
      No problem I said and then gave her a price...... triple what HER neighbour paid😂😂

    You can see what kind of neighbor relationship they have - one fence is not enough, they both have to have their own fences! And the intransigent neighbor should be thanking the other neighbor for taking down that tree since it is likely dropping crap on their car anyway… and more importantly, encouraging growth on their roof, leading to premature failure.

    In one of the replies, he said that there were lights on, but they didn’t answer the door. So technically they didn’t actually refuse to move their car and they may not have been at home. I noticed that he put a plastic tarp over the front of the car.
    There are lots of reasons for not answering your door. I’m 81 and disabled by severe arthritis and heart failure. I have to get out of my recliner and climb seven stairs to answer the door. By then, often the person has left. So I don’t answer it unless I’m expecting someone. Don’t be too quick to judge.

    Obviously he was hoping his vehicle would be damaged, and I'm sure that sort of thing has happened before. Perhaps you could recommend this to your legislators, there should be a law that if someone refuses to move their vehicle when hazardous work is being done they are responsible for all damages, not the company doing the work. With a law like that you could drop the top of the tree on his car and he'd be responsible.

    • @estherwagner6735
      @estherwagner6735 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Nice work. There are a few places where trees should not be planted at is close to the house, pipes, sidewalks and power lines they will cost you or someone else down the road for the repair. Does anyone notice how dumb the tree looks when one side is cut from the power lines and the bottom of the tree where the phone and cable lines at are still the same full of the tree. Planting new trees by the power line should be only small trees that do not reach the phone or cable lines, If you have vines going up the tree take them off the tree. The vine's will make the tree weak with the branch falling and over time will kill the tree.
