- This car originally had a short shifter that I've always felt indifferent about. The shifts are indeed shorter but the high RPM rattle was super annoying. If you can live with it then great. I'll give the shifter away to anyone who wants it, just comment below and I'll pick a random person (You must live in the continental US to be eligible)

Great vid as always. I love short throw shifters. I ran T3 shifter for many years on the T50, and now I'm running the Cube short throw shifter on the W58.
how do you like running the W58?
@RickCunanan well, I'm running a W58 behind a 1uz and Ford 8.8. the entire setup feels different, so still getting use to it. Overall super happy with the new transplants.

When driving at high RPMs and experiencing a shaking shifter, the most likely culprit is a worn-out transmission mount or other related bushings,
@@HectorMateo-l6l you are correct, in some cases yes. But for my case the shifter itself was the culprit.
I have brand new mounts and bushings all around. 😄

Hello I'd like to ask a question, when my ignition is off and I try to go into gear via the gearstick, it rebounds back to neutral. Is there something wrong here? I thought its supposed to be able to go into gear when the ignition is off. Please enlighten me, car expert seniors.
I get the vibration thing. I feel like every interior plastic piece vibrates. Kills the mood for a bit.
