@@travisceathat’s nothing to be ashamed about or to be scoffed at, considering the fact this car’s inherent factory specifications, its performance capabilities and combat potential was low and definitely a far cry. @B.R.BGarage Agreed and 🙏. Even if I didn't reach the performance levels that I'm at now, I'd still be satisfied with building my own car from scratch 😀
400whp at 2600lb has to be a wild ride. With the oil pan baffle and pickup, are you still using the OEM pan? I have a new OEM oil pan, and a killerB baffle/pickup combo sitting in a box in my garage for my STI and have been hesitant to install it because I only want to pull the pan once and have been struggling with whether or not I should drop 300 for a killer b pan instead of using the new OEM pan I got with the combo.
I still have the OEM STI pan. The STI pan is much better than the WRX one and the oil sits much higher. The killer b and iag pans provide greater capacity and you can't go wrong, but I personally don't think there are necessary. The pickup and baffle though, for sure.

Didn't realize you're running a vf37 thats odd. I would like to see it compared to say a modern blouch G.2 😅 Probably closer to 40k overall im content. But she just threw the belt so how much to fix it after that.
The modded vf37 gives me more than enough power and only cost 600$. I really didn't want to spend that much on the motor area 😂. A timing belt? Yeah that's gonna be at least a few bent valves and possibly way more. I'd say it would be about 5-6k for a shop to do or 1-2k yourself.

Is there difference between jdm sti 6 speed and the usdm sti 6 speed manual transmission?
@B.R.BGarage There is. JDM ones have a shorter ratio 5th and 6th. Bad for highway mileage, great for the track though.
