STLC is a part of SDLC because this will come during testing phase Requirements analysis - TEST PLANNING -TEST DESIGN - TEST EXECUTION -DEFECT/BUG REPORTING & TRACKING - TEST CLOSURE. STLC talks about the testing process where exactly we have to start and what are the different documents we have to prepare and what are the different people involved in software testing. All these things will be taken care of in the stlc process.
