Tui is the best airline ever in my opinion
TUI are definatly by far the best I did TUI Manchester to Cancun we went premier class worth every penny fabulous. We flew out on Miles Of Smiles and returned on Neil 787/800 seats row 7 AB
that are very good, i do love virgin atlantic though
I think you never flew with Singapore or Qatar airline. If you did, then they would be first class and TUI would be second class, far form being the "best" airline. In fact most asian airlines would be better then TUI.

When we flew back from Cancun last June with TUI (back to Manchester), one of the cabin crew offered us the opportunity to have a look in the cockpit after landing. Because we were keen to get home (and the fact we had jet lag like everyone else), we turned that opportunity away and I can only think of how regrettable that decision was. Decent plane, comfortable seats. Good meal service (except breakfast on the return; that sucked!).
Hi Sam. Going to the cockpit was a fantastic experience, deficiently consider going next time you fly. I do see your point in wanting to get off the plane though. I completely agree that the food on the return flight was poor in comparison to the the outbound. Thanks.
I found out that the food on the Return flights is loaded in Cancun. (TUI flies it’s inbound meals on its outbound flights on all other routes) that’s why the meal on the return leg from CUN is so bad.

Great flight review, been on Tui's Dreamliners a few times, love those aircraft. the meals are pretty good. next flight is that flight to Cancun in April. next on my list is the A350-1000. Safe travel to you👍🏻

I'm taking a tui 787 next month. Just wondering about the power situation. Is it viable to have a laptop, and is there charging facilities beyond USB?
@@ronanmcw there is a usb charging point and head phone jack, you will need an adapter for the headphone jack as its a 2 pin affair. if your in premium they have ac power. good place to look for info on airlines and seating is on seat guruwww.seatguru.com/findseatmap/findseatmap.php

Fantastic Video! I'm on the 787 with TUI from Birmingham in a few months!! I'm in Premium. There's been some discussion about G-TUIA's premium config. Did you see if it was a 2-3-2 or a 3-3-3 in Premium? Thanks
Hi Sam. Thanks for watching. The config is 2-3-2 in premium and 3-3-3 in economy. I did see the premium when we were getting off and it did look very nice. Have a good flight!

It was standard Economy. You get screens on all TUI long haul flights both in Economy and Premium.
I love the Dreamliner!! I used to only fly on the 737, 757, A320 etc and it was a very pleasant experience - it was good to have my own screen. The rows were a bit staggered though so I had to sit slightly behind my ten year old (across the aisle) and she was getting a bit upset because she can be a nervous flyer and had never been on a long haul aircraft. Because it was my first time on the 787, some of the noises were a bit alarming in my opinion, but to be fair I am used to smaller aircraft. The landing back at Manchester was so smooth though that I thought we were still hundreds of feet in the air!! I was sat in the middle of the plane on the aisle seat so couldn’t really see out of the window very well, but on the map we were going over Manchester. I was a bit like, “what??” But then I realise we landed. All together a great experience, I think this was definitely one of my favourite flights. The only thing I’ll say though is that I do prefer the descent on the 737 because on the Dreamliner it sort of felt like we were doing a nose dive at some points 😂. Also the flaps on the wings were a bit weird as they put them down when we had pretty much only just started descending. But I don’t know, maybe it’s just me being paranoid?? I was sat just in front of the toilet, so that kept making loud noises. Anyway (I’ll stop talking now lol), it was a really pleasant flight.
Hi Lilly. Thanks for taking time to write such a detailed comment. We also found the staggered seating config to be a bit annoying. Especially considering on the outbound flight my dad was basically sat on his own amongst a wedding party. My dad personally hated this flight, he wasn’t pleased about members of the wedding party leaning on his seat etc. Maybe next time the four of us will split into two on one side of the plane. In terms of the noises of the plane, I already knew what to expect as I’d watched tones of videos prior 😂.
That wouldn't have been the flaps coming down at such an early stage in the descent. Flaps can't be used above 20,000 feet at all, and rarely much above 5,000 feet.
Also, the descent on the 787 is usually even more shallow than the 737 as it is much more aerodynamically smooth. Maybe there was a specific reason on your flight but it is rare.

Hashmal Dawn thank you so much! When the flaps came down we were probably nearly landing as I didn’t even know when we were about to hit the ground so I wouldn’t trust myself to know that either haha.

Apparently they're ok unless there's some kind of problem, then you're on your own. I'm sure you'll be fine though.
Also I'm sure you know, but don't forget to print your boarding passes for both outbound and inbound.
Apparently they charge £40 each if you don't. That's really awful!

Ryanair are the pits if theres any problems there NO customer service n they are good at leaving customers high n dry I wouldnt touch them with a barge pole
Would you recommend upgrading to premium seats or is it simply not worth it already booked the extra leg room ones
I’ve never flown the premium, so I don’t know what the experience is like. The economy seat is completely fine for a long haul flight. I assume premium must be better than the economy experience. I’d imagine it’s a bigger seat with a better meal, and I think you get an amenity kit in premium.

Hi. I told the crew member when boarding the plane that it was my first time flying on the Dreamliner, she told me to wait till everyone had disembarked in Cancun and then come to the cockpit.
Awesome! I'm flying on the 787 on Monday to Cancun and I'm a bit of a plane geek so will try that! Cheers!
TUI Cabin Crew here. Just ask one of the crew after landing when you are disembarking. We will never say no 🙂

I'm goign to the dominican republic in 2 days and I'm nervous for the plane because I dont like taking off or landing . So I have a question, did your ears hurt when landing and taking off??
The Dreamliner is a very comfortable aircraft. If I can remember my ears didn’t really hurt on the flight. Because of the planes design with its mood lighting and lower cabin altitude you should feel more refreshed. Enjoy the Dominican!

We were sat in row 22. The view was decent from the seat. But I’d say sit a bit further back to get the best view.
What is the 787-325 ? Is it a 787-9 dreamliner ? It’s a 3-3-3 configuration? Flying on this in June

Yes. I went to the cockpit after arrival in Cancun and I asked the pilot about TUIA being the first 787 in TUIs fleet. He went on to say that it had completed the most hours of all worldwide 787s. It makes sense considering the amount of hours TUI gets out of its fleet!

What is your favourite airline and why?
Well I have to be honest, being young I haven’t flown many airlines. But out of the small amount I’ve flown, I’d say TUI. I’ve recently come back from a flight with Thomas Cook, and while that was good, I feel that TUI was marginally better.

Hello, I wonder if you can help me, how bad was the turbulence to Mexico. Please be honest. On a scale of 1-10 1 being you could hardly feel it and 10 being very bad. Thankyou
Hi Henry. The turbulence was a little rough on the flight, I’d say around 6 or 7. Nothing too uncomfortable though. Don’t worry about turbulence, planes are designed to cope with it.
