Premium Seats on TUI Dreamliner with Measurements

- We travelled back to Mexico again and we travelled Premium again. This time I took my tape measure so I could give you some realistic measurements.
We flew from Newcastle to Cancun on TUI Dreamliner 787-800.
For reference my husband is 6ft 2 and I am 5ft 4 and a UK size 20.
Our seats going out were 2E & 2F. I hope this video is helpful if you are looking for videos for this aircraft in the Premium Section. Any questions just ask :)

Only a £350 uplift here for return trip to Mexico in July 2024. You need to remember that there’s a £100 extra APD (UK Air Passenger Duty tax) on the outbound leg over that of standard economy seats if flying from UK, which is entirely outside of TUIs control. So personally I consider that a very good deal, especially if you were needing the included extras: advance seat selection, extra baggage, lounge access (or a paying for a meal at the airport), fast track security.
Loved this flight to Mexico few years ago...
The dreamliner is so smooth that even though the flight is long, it doesn't feel like it 😊
Great video. Was thinking of upgrading wife/daughter as a unexpected treat. Having seen the "premium" options no chance especially at £500pp .

It says online it's complimentary drinks throughout, is this the case for soft drinks or is it a limited number of trolley runs? I also wondered do premium passengers receive more bar runs than economy?
Drinks are complimentary, they do a few runs but I think you can ask for them at any time x
I think premium and economy have the same amount of runs
On most long-haul non-economy airlines, including TUI, I find you’ll usually get extra soft or alcoholic drinks if you ask and they have them available. That also applies in just regular economy. If you can wait for an attendant to be passing and ask politely, or go visit the galley on your own (when they are not busy preparing for a service there), they’ll probably appreciate it over pressing the call button.
Thank you so much for this, I've been really worried about my up and coming flight in Premium as a plus size person. I'm not confident I'll be able to use the tray though at a size 28.....
The tray doesn't really sit on your belly (although I guess it depends where you carry your weight. My waist measures 42", hips and bum are 51". When we sat in extra space seats the tray was on my lap on a wonk whereas premium there was just so much more room.

I was really disappointed by the movies if I'm honest. There were no new movies. I'm sure you can go on the tui site and they tell you what movies are on
TUI Premium is good but the film choice is usually really poor and not being able to get WIFI in this day and age on board, is disappointing.
Yes we were really disappointed. Gone are the days when you got movies that were on at the cinema!
