Idk if you noticed but merida's father is wearing his 3 sons who were also turned into bears- meaning he killed his wife and kids, making him merida's only family. This whole video was brilliant!

@@jasonsmith6219 Yes there is a chance that’s true but knowing full well who those bears were there is no reason he couldn’t let them go in the woods or a humane place! Especially his own wife (the Queen) who wanted things to change but he turned the baby boys into a cloak to wear as a trophy and gave Merida’s mother to Merida the psychological abuse is enough to make what he did wrong you should put your family before your kingdom Merida could have defended herself if she needed too but she had a heart she couldn’t hurt the bear in front of her knowing it was her mother make that make sense 🙄
@@jasonsmith6219I mean if anything he probably just didn't even know they were his sons. Maybe in this world the curse was never actually revealed so he killed the bear he thought killed his family and as extra revenge killed it's cubs as well
I like how she planned it. The way the wisps led her, now they lead her to every candidate. Can't force me to marry anyone if there's nobody alive to be a husband candidate.

I think this is by far the most brutal one she's done. the others implied things, here she just straight up murders everyone. I Love it.

Man, this makes me think of "Braveheart"; after William Wallace was betrayed and got his revenge. Merida gaining the might of the bear after the loss of her mother and brothers. Taking down the lords before slaying her own father in the end. Did Merida just become the most powerful women in all of Scotland?

This song is, well, hard to describe. Hard to find the real villain. Is it Merida, for killing her dad? Or is it her dad, for not knowing better? No-one really knows, but the song still rocks nonetheless.
New subscriber here hi 👋 I’m just gonna do this in Merida’s point of view because she’s not wrong and her actions yes are villainous but she is not let me explain;
Merida has spent her whole life in the shadow of her parents she had enough all she wanted was for her mother to see her for who she is when she made that wish Merida didn’t want her mother to be turned into a bear she didn’t want any of that but the deed was done and she had to fix this seeing her mother finally get her and help open up something she knew in her heart she finally could see her mother as she saw herself and that was the greatest gift to her! The witch told her she had to mend the bond admit her mistakes and move forward with the mom she now knew the perspective of but when her mother turned into a real bear and lost her memories to Merida she was still her mother the shock of getting attacked by her mother didn’t stop her from trying her apologies didn’t work this was all her fault the witch lied to her, her own father blinded by reality killing her family, and then being forced to marry knowing in her heart that her mother didn’t want that anymore it shattered her if her father was going to kill the people she loved then he wouldn’t care if she killed the people he loved the kingdom unlike her father though Merida felt remorse and guilt for what she had to do to her father but he left her no other option he was cold as winter ice and made her in the same direction wearing her mother is a promise a promise that she will be the last one to be killed at the hands of the one who raised her that the monster who she thought was her father would pay for his actions!

This one and Mulan villain song are definitely the ones where I feel the least amount of sympathy for the villain mostly because they’re dragging other innocent people into the crap that they’re doing Merida is guaranteed to cause massive amounts of Civil War and strife with what she just did she butchered All four major noble families in Scotland not only that, but she has drastically weakened their military strength, which means that the Romans, which still exist in her world, and the Vikings, which still exist in her world, are going to be much more capable of attacking her, and her people
In comparison with Mulan, she’s leading a rebellion in China those always get millions of people killed every single time and it is implied that she’s going to burn the capital city clear to the ground, which would definitely involve the death of at least 1 million people probably more so both of these are on Genghis Khan level body count
