Man doe that radio work well? It looks good and I have been wanting to put one my renegade but don't have much info on it.
It’s super cheap but the quality is also meh. It’s basically a tablet with radio functions. Everything works well and you don’t lose button function so that’s good. My only complaint is that CarPlay randomly quits working

I got a lifted jeep that I keep alot of stuff up top on. Like a spare and such. Its sometimes a pain depending on the weight of what I'm trying to put up there

Hey man awesome set up! On that stereo...does all the normal functions work...like back up camera.. steering wheel controls... GPS etc?
Everything works well because the stereo has a “canbus” harness! This specific model comes with a built in GPS system but truthfully I just use my phones Apple Maps with CarPlay

@@GOAdventures765 I upgraded from the 5in so anything bigger would be nicer for me. I don’t care for the bells and whistles but think of it as a big tablet. It’s cool

What kind of screen is that on the dash? How did they make it fit? I assume they had to cut? Looks bigger than what comes with the renegade. I have a 2015 trailhawk. I never had mods done with the radio touchscreen.
so this stereo actually comes with a bevel dash kit included! I'll be straight up, it was an extremely easy install, no cutting at all--all plug and play. you can tell the quality is not the best in terms of a clunky user interface but its lightyears better than Uconnect. its essentially an android tablet that lets you do anything a tablet/stereo does and you can keep your stock controls. @@DaHoodScientist yeah I just saw your front camera video now. Cool. I wonder if they make wireless blue tooth cameras? Do you know if they make security cameras for cars? Mount on the sides. I have a dash cam but I need more angles to record.
I have seen bluetooth rear cameras that have a dongle that connects to the dash but I have heard that sometimes they aren't working great and you need to reset it, meaning you have to pull out the dash. I stoped looking beyond that !
