    Good Job, phenomenal work!!! The only downside is, this type of charcoal will sell 3x more expensive then the regular charcoal I buy for grilling!

    You already exerted so much of smoke in the process that there is no smoke left in the product. Is it not a smokeless joke?

    Guys, there is no problem in production of smokeless coconut briquettes for shisha. Any experienced production manager at Indonesian factories knows, that specs of this natural product product can be adjusted to go with the customer's requirements. BUT - adjustment of one spec almost always happens at the expense of the others. So, good manufacturer will always give the customer what they (their end users) want.

    Magnificent that they are doing this. But when has a charcoal making oven ever been called, "An impurities removal engine."? A totally wince-worthy statement.
    They are trying to make this sound high tech. It is not. There are so many You Tubes on how to do this.
    The clever part is making sawdust into charcoal dust. That is not so easily done as anyone who has attempted to burn sawdust knows. The next clever pard is binding the charcoal powder. My guess is they use clay, or a stiff starch slurry.
    Bravo to them.

      The machine is pressing the sawdust with high pressure and high heat. This not not need a binder, I think.
      What needs charcoal is if they make the sawdust to charcoal dust and try to form it in a mold, then they would need binder. Correct me if I'm wrong.

    I'm searching on a less energy loss of making charcoal. As agroforestry consultant I know a few tree species very suitable and which prevent at the same time soil and water erosion. Then I made a dam to catch some eroded soil and probably a huge amount of energy can be generated from the waterstream.
    I'm thinking about using that electricity in heating a high pressure silo of firewood to make charcoal

      Look at the biochar made from the pyrolysis process. It can be very efficient depending on the scale and gasification capture

    are these pure sawdust from raw wood or furnitures? if some came from the latter, wouldnt this be sort of poisonous because of the chemicals in it?

    • @andyjohnson3790
      @andyjohnson3790 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This would only result if the wood was treated with water resistant and anti rot chemicals or furniture made from compressed wood chips/sawdust with glue or formaldehyde.
      The pile in the beginning of the video was raw discarded wood, and almost every pallet and sturdy furniture is made from raw wood.
      But it's still possible
