Digital, these days, i don't think i can trust government or banks. Physical gold is better but not in jewellery form. We can buy gold/silver in pure form like bullions or vedhani (24 carat gold / 99.9% silver) for investment to avoid loss of making charges. Its better option for gift also as if the person wants he/she can always get jewellery of their choice in exchange or keep as it is.
