I love this video. I see people wearing the gears I like. Hat, daypack, trekking poles, comfortable hiking shoes are must.

I like those lightweight shoulder bags of those monks. They are made of clothes.

I hope you guys feel ok now. You guys need to spend at least a week to climatize. And always turn back if you start feeling sick. Spend more time in Namchee eventually you will see Everest ;)

Why did you need rescue helicopter? What happened?

The couple appeared very relaxed to hike this journey. No doubt, there were certain degrees of discomfort caused by thin airs.

wander lust it was super crowded in October. We’re really slow and the guide helped us secure rooms in the tea houses. But the closer we got to basecamp the more people had to sleep in the tea house cafeteria

@@avendanoable thanks for the heads up... that's what i'm worried about not to get a room to sleep. well i should do it a bit earlier then, probably this monsoon season.... have a great day!

The trekking company took care of all our lodging. It does get really cold at tonight after namche! Make sure you have a warm sleeping bag, lots of clothing to layer and bring a buff. The buff saved my life!

Many so called nutritionists would tell you that eating rice causes sugar crash and you would feel hungry after a few hours. It’s nonsense. Eating rice makes you feel full and satisfied for a whole day. You won’t easily get dizziness. In the old days, Chinese farmers woke up at 4 am, they cooked rice as their breakfast. They did eat rice, meat, vegetables at their breakfasts. The carbohydrates gave them energy to endure a long day of hard work in the field. These days, people concern about keeping thin, so thin that they are wasting away. I don’t like the fashion industry to give a wrong message to the world.

You went up too fast, no acclimatisation days. Did you pay for the helicopter yourselves or was this another insurance fraud, ten million dollar annual business in Nepal now.
