Dr. James White would do better if he devotes more time praying for protestants who want to convert to the Catholic Church. If those protestants are wrong, his prayers would save them. But if they are right, he'd be swimming against the tide.

    In answer to James' question;
The other day I went to confession, bowed my head, confessed my sins and was forgiven by the grace of God - so I became, by that grace alone, that blessed man. Thank God.
    Give it a go - it's amazing.
    Amen.

You don't need a priest to absolve your sins. You can go straight to the throne of Jesus Christ and have your sins forgiven.

@@misse8787 Well, you could argue that you don't NEED to go to Church, but no sensible Christian would recommend that - the sacraments are there to bring us close to God. Christ set up the Church to help us with these matters, why would we think we know better than he?

@@dutch1815 What if you sin and you are in a situation where your life in danger, and life could be taken any time and there is no Confessional near, do you have to die in your sins because the Church is not there to "help you with these things"? How exactly are sins forgiven in the new Testament?

    • @dutch1815
      @dutch1815 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

All sin is forgiven by God's grace, and we are redeemed by the sacrifice of Christ.
If you were at a point of death, sacramental confession would not be a "requirement" (the Church talks about making an act of 'perfect contrition' - an example of this would be the thief on the cross next to Jesus; who interestingly makes the nearest thing to a sacramental confession I've ever heard described!).
Confession is however the normal means provided by the Church to reconcile (it's actually more accurately called "reconciliation") sinners to God, and you're better off using the normal means normally!
(If the fire alarm goes off, you could wait until firemen in breathing apparatus chop the door down to rescue you, but it would be far wiser I stead to head for the fire exit!!)

    • @Nolongeraslave
      @Nolongeraslave 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

@@dutch1815 So it was the Church that invented the confessionals as the means for the sins of the people to be forgiven? If I understood you correctly, one does not necessarily need the sacrament but can go straight to God, why was then the Church obliged to put up unnecessary sacrament?

@@Forsthman64 sure! When she says “my soul magnifies the Lord,” she’s not saying that “through my greatness I make much of God.” That would be like a microscope: making something small appear to be big through a microscope. That’s one kind of magnification. What Mary is saying is that she is magnifying the Lord as a telescope magnifies a star. She points to God’s goodness and mercy and glory, even though she is humble and weak and in need of a Savior. That is magnifying like a telescope: making God appear more like how He truly is! The English word "BELIEVE" is a verb (not a noun) used in the context of the passage (ref. John 3:16) that means there is WORK/ACT/DEED to be done to be SAVED... NOT just FAITH (noun) ALONE... unless you are dying on your bed or at the cross like the thief...

Christ said, "COME (verb/work), PICK UP/CARRY (verb/work) your CROSS (noun/Task), and FOLLOW (verb/work) ME (Christ Jesus)." (ref. Matt. 16:24-26)... there is work to be done.
Apostle Paul claimed that the "WORKS OF THE LAW" (Moses/Mosaic) that we can boast of is the one NOT needed/required (apart) to have FAITH in Christ Jesus through God's GRACE... (ref. Romans 3:27-28) ... WHY?... because the written WORKS OF THE LAW, kills/destroy... (ref. 2 Corin. 3:6)...
However, the "WORKS of LOVE" taught by Christ Jesus to His Apostles is NEEDED/REQUIRED to bear fruits... "LOVE (verb/work) God above all, and LOVE (verb/work) your Neighbor." (ref. Mark 12:30-31).
Christ Jesus reminded us all that... SALVATION is a PROCESS... "Anyone who ENDURES (verb/work) to the END, will be SAVED (Future Perfect Tense)." ...(ref. Matt. 24:13).
Facts and Truth of the Matter, Biblically and Logically speaking... Praise be to God in Christ Jesus... Amen.

Faith is not a work. If it were, the distinction that both Paul and James make between faith and works would be nonsensical. We do not believe in order to be saved (as if salvation would be some kind of reward for faith). Even our faith is part of the salvific work of God.

God's people are in all the denominations within Christendom. They are living within the light they have and understand. When a believer is given additional light it's best embrace the light. Sometimes that requires trying to make changes within the church. Other times it requires the enlightened believer to move on to another church or denomination. The problem for the RCC was always that the gospel doesn't leave any room for Rome to use it as a tool of power for itself, or a means of extracting wealth from the people. The gospel doesn't let you tie up heavy burdens upon people's shoulders, or devour widows' houses. So Rome had to change the gospel. That's why the laity had to be forbidden from reading it. Here's what's so amazing about God's word though. It has transcended all of that. Despite every human effort in corruption and deception over the centuries, God has sustained and preserved His revelation to us. That's such an incredible miracle when you realize how it was just woven through and across our entire history, completely unscathed.

I am not sure what sect of Christianity you are attached to, but it is generally held that Baptism is a necessity to be born again and become elect in Christ. The Catholic Church acknowledges the baptism of many other Christian sects.
I believe your characterization of the church gate keeping the sacraments is unfair. The Catholic Church is the only place that offers confession so there isn't another options. I personally have found confession to be a great boon in my fight against temptation and sin. I go to confession in part because I fear the loss of heaven, but more importantly I realize that through my sin I have hurt my relationship with Christ. He is pouring out his grace on me but if I have turned away from him and am not cooperating with his will then It is all for not. Reconciliation gives people a way to confess their sins to another individual whose vocational purpose is pastoral care and healing.

I get your point that the good thief might not have been baptized. If someone dies with a desire/intention to be baptized they can receive the grace of baptism without the sacramentals and ritual. 1) Not everything written by every "doctor" of the Church must be orthodox. Doctors of the Church have helped clarify and develop various teachings. Development does not mean something new but simply explicitly stating what has always been implicit.
    2) Protestants think that "devotional" writings are meant to convey orthodox teachings.
    3) Asking Mary to pray for us is not any form of worship. Protestants don't have a clue what true worship is... namely offering sacrifices…
Everything Catholics (and Eastern Orthodox Christians) believe about Mary stems from one basic, historical fact that has profound implications...
Mary, a simple, humble creature of God, bore “God Incarnate” in her womb.
We honor (never worship) Mary because it was through her act of surrender (“be it unto me according to thy word Luke 1:38) that the means of our salvation, Jesus Christ, entered the world.
God could have entered the world through a sinful woman but chose not to because God determined it was fitting to enter though a Holy Vessel as a means of the incarnation.
Some Protestants complain that this violates the Biblical concept that “all have sinned” (2 Chronicles 6:36, Romans 3:28, 1 John 1:8). However, Jesus, was a man and did not sin therefore these passages cannot be taken to be understood in an “absolute” sense, but rather a “general” sense.
Paul and the author of Hebrews (Hebrews 4:15 and 2 Cor 5:21) could also have stated that “Mary” was like us in all ways, except she did not sin. However, the implication of this is completely different. Jesus was without sin because of His divinity. Mary was without sin because of God’s grace operating in her.
We know God’s grace was operating in her based on Luke 1:26-30 In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. And he came to her and said, "Hail, O favored one, the Lord is with you!" But she was greatly troubled at the saying, and considered in her mind what sort of greeting this might be. And the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.
“O favored one” is one word in Greek, Kecharitōmenē. This word is only used one time in scripture. Also, the greeting “Hail” (“kai”) is normally reserved for royalty. More on that later. Notice Mary’s response to this greeting: “But she was greatly troubled at the saying and considered in her mind what sort of greeting this might be”.
This word, Kecharitōmenē could be translated as “one who has been perfected in grace” or “full of grace” as Jerome translated it. We honor her because she, being made “full of grace”, is a sign of what God wants to do for us. She is our ultimate role model as a human saint. When we get to heaven, all of us will be “full of grace”. Mary’s holiness was, in a sense, God’s preparation for her to become the holy vessel of the incarnation.
Luke 1:38 And Mary said, "Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word." And the angel departed from her.
What I discovered is that through her “fiat” (saying Yes to God), Mary played a unique role in salvation history by bringing Jesus to us two thousand years ago. This is another reason why we give her honor. She demonstrates to us what it means to be a disciple of Christ by her absolute surrender to God’s will and its implications for our salvation.
Luke 1:41-43 And when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit and she exclaimed with a loud cry, "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! And why is this granted me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
Clearly, Elizabeth is giving honor to Mary when she proclaimed, “And why is this granted me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me”. If it was appropriate for Elizabeth to honor Mary, why would it be inappropriate for me to honor Mary today?
We honor Mary because her soul magnifies the Lord. Luke 1:44-46 And Mary said, "My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden. For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed.”
Catholics and Eastern Orthodox have always honored Mary by calling her “blessed”. Unfortunately, Protestants have chosen to completely ignore Luke 1:44-46.
Because Mary’s womb was set apart for this sacred use, much like the Ark of the Covenant and the Holy of Holies in the Old Testament, she was never had another children. If she had other children Jesus would not have given her to John at the foot of the cross.
As far as the brothers of Christ are concerned, it should be noted that there is no verse in scripture that states any of them are the biological children of either Mary. It should be noted that the word for “brother” in Greek isn’t always limited to one’s biological brother. There are passages that this word may point to “kinfolk” like cousins or even uncles or simply spiritual “brothers”.
Let’s start with James, the first bishop of Jerusalem (Acts 12:17, 15:13, 21:18; Galatians 1:19; 2:9-12) and the author of the epistle of James. Paul mentions that when he met with the Apostles, he includes James, the “brother of Jesus” in his partial list of the 12 disciples that he met with. However, we know from the gospels that the 2 apostles named James were stated as sons of men other than Joseph, Zebedee and Alpheus (Matt 10:2-3; Mark 3:18).
Likewise, two of the brothers of Jesus, James, and Joseph (Mt 13:55) are mentioned again together at the foot of the cross in Matthew 27:56 as being the sons of “another Mary” not Mary, mother of Jesus. I highly recommend Brant Pitre’s Jesus and the Jewish Roots of Mary treatment of this subject. He makes a very convincing case from scripture alone that none of the supposed “brothers” of Christ are not biological brothers through Mary but rather, they are cousins of Jesus. Another valid possibility is that the Joseph may have been a widower when he married Mary and the “brothers” of Jesus may have been existing children from Joseph’s first marriage. The Church allows both as valid opinions.
If Mary was this Holy then her assumption is reasonable, just like Enoch (Gen 5:24 Heb 11:5) and Elijah (2 Kin ch 2).
James White has never satisfactorily addressed the questions that led me to the Catholic faith at age 46:
    1) If "Sola Scriptura" was God's plan why has it produced so many contradictory doctrines including how we are saved?
    2) How was "Sola Scriptura" God's plan when in the first 12 years the only scripture available to Christians was the Old Testament and even then, the Old Testament canon was not settled.
    3) Most of the references to the authority of scripture in the New Testament point to the Old Testament. If those passages were teaching Sola Scriptura than they would be saying that the Old Testament is sufficient. Instead, why does the New Testament clearly point to the authority of the Apostolic Church and of Apostolic Tradition, not scripture alone?
    4) Based on the texts of first and second century Christians (or the Apostolic Fathers... Ignatius of Antioch, Clement of Rome, Polycarp, Justin Martyr, the Didache, Irenaeus of Lyon, etc.) how do we explain the overwhelming historical evidence that Protestants have not done a good job preserving the Apostolic Tradition and rejecting doctrines like Apostolic Succession?
    5) It was the Catholic Church that established the 27 book New Testament Canon that Protestants accept. How can a fallible Church define an infallible Canon?
    6) The Catholic Church teaches we are saved by God's grace alone. We are restored by faith and baptism. In our baptism, we provide the faith and God provides the saving grace. After baptism, we allow God to change us from the inside out (sanctifying grace) and to work through us to prepare us for our final judgement. Prayer and the sacraments are the principal means of receiving sanctifying grace. How can I say that the Catholic Church teaches a "different gospel" when the Catholic view of salvation is far more Biblical than any Protestant view?

Many of Rome’s false doctrines stem from their false gospel. Mass, penance, purgatory, etc all stem from their false gospel that doesn’t save and doesn’t bring peace with God. All the extras are needed to fill the holes and gaps in their soteriology, if you can even call it that. Instead of the true gospel that unites us to Christ through Faith and the result is salvation and the sanctification that results in a changed life. With Rome you get an endless cycle of penance and fear and anxiety and a system that gives Rome power and their people terror and anxiety. Rome abandoned the scripture and the faith of the early church long ago. Any honest review of history will clearly show that Rome today is nowhere near what the early church believed. It has been hundreds of years of slow accretions and inventions of men from pagan, mystic and gnostic sources. The Reformation, praise God, was a return to the church that Christ and the Apostles handed the church fathers. It was a return to scripture as the highest authority that all other authorities must be judged against. Other authorities are useful and edifying, but once you elevate some other authority to the level of scripture, you are bound to end up in endless ditches like Rome has found itself countless times.

The sad part is Mr. White constantly uses the same arguments over and over again, even though they are sufficiently answered by Catholic apologists. Which can't be said for arguments against his own tradition.... Look at the Early Church and there you will find the Catholic Church. Nothing remotely resembles the Protestant Church (start with the first 3 centuries). For example, if you were to walk into a Early Church would you see a pulpit at the forefront center of the church or would you see an altar? Did Church revolve around the sermon or did it revolve around worshiping Jesus in the Eucharist? The burden of proof would be on Protestants to prove otherwise.

Many Protestants who commented also concurred that Jimmy won. Jimmy did a great job explaining how there are a plethora quotes from Protestant leaders (ie:Martin Luther, etc.) who would be in agreement with Catholic doctrinal teachings. Unfortunately, as we know, there is no unity within the Protestant faith on many essential doctrines... Jesus prays for all believers that we should be one (Jn: 17: 20-23). Rome cannot give you peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Akins didn't win that debate, he never mention the entire hamster wheel Rome forces you to be on in order to be saved. There is no peace. In the final analysis, salvation lies with you. God did all he could but you failed. That is not good news at all. It's depressing. By the way, the early church fathers were not Roman Catholic, nor Eastern Orthodox, nor Protestant. They were just the early church Fathers. Read Calvin's institutes. Moreover, the Word of God is both Scripture and Oral Tradition which is btw IN SCRIPTURE.
Paul says that much Christian teaching is to be found in the tradition which is handed down by word of mouth (2 Tim. 2:2). He instructs us to “stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by letter” (2 Thess. 2:15).

"What then shall we say? Why not? Because they pursued it not by faith but as if it were by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone." Romans 9:30-32
Can the apostle Paul contradict himself?
*"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."* Ephesians 2:8-10

*"He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,"* Titus 3:5

Thanks to The Church, supported by Jesus Christ, we have the world we live in: marriage and the family institution and the middle class, education based on beauty, goodness and truth, architecture, science and farming technology, clean water and the sewage system, music and art and health and fitness. When anyone speaks ill of The Church, it puts us back more than 1308 years.

If you are, I apologize. If you’re not, I urge you to do so brother. In heaven, there’ll be no debates. You mean he took in the truth that as Jesus' ministry grew, Mary's role diminished and that is very evident of the New Testament writers. After the 4 Gospels, Mary is only mentioned once by name in the upper room prayer vigil (Acts 1:13-14), where she is listed second to last behind the unnamed women and ahead of Jesus' brothers.
Notice they all prayed WITH Mary and NOT TO Mary.
The only other reference to Mary in the remainder of the New Testament is where the great apostle Paul merely refers to her as "born of a woman" in Galatians 4:4.
No special attention was ever given to Mary by Jesus nor any of the apostles.
Oh...and by the way, the "woman" in Revelation 12 is Israel (Jerusalem), NOT Mary, God's chosen (elect) people whom He will rescue from the hand of all her enemies and restore the kingdom to in the last days. (From Genesis through to the Book of Revelation)
...And just what can Mary possibly do for you Catholics, that Almighty God the Father, His Son and Holy Spirit can't possibly do for you Catholics?

Oh really now...is that a fact!
      Catechism of the Catholic Church:
"Beginning with Mary's unique cooperation with the working of the Holy Spirit, *the Churches developed their prayer TO the holy Mother of God,* centering it on the person of Christ manifested in his mysteries. In countless hymns and antiphons expressing this prayer, two movements usually alternate with one another: the first "magnifies" the Lord for the "great things" he did for his lowly servant and through her for all human beings the second entrusts the supplications and praises of the children of God to the Mother of Jesus, because she now knows the humanity which, in her, the Son of God espoused." (CCC 2675)
"Mary is the perfect Orans (pray-er), a figure of the Church. *When WE PRAY TO HER,* we are adhering with her to the plan of the Father, who sends his Son to save all men. Like the beloved disciple we welcome Jesus' mother into our homes, for she has become the mother of all the living. *WE CAN PRAY WITH AND TO HER.* The prayer of the Church is sustained by the prayer of Mary and united with it in hope." (CCC 2679)
Sorry, but you do what the Catholic Church says you do!
      Yes...Keep things in context.
May I suggest you Google search Catholic "Marian (Mary) prayers"...there sure is a lot more going on in the Catholic Church than just "praying with Mary"!!
You wrote: "First of all, she was still alive, but that’s not to say she didn’t already act as an intercessor with Jesus (eg., in Cana). "
Okay then, let's put things in perspective by looking at the wedding in Cana, where Mary supposedly "interceded" for the wedding party, though the Scriptures never mention she interceded for anyone, but brought the attention of running out of wine to Jesus herself.
But first let's see why Jesus came to this world:
      - *"For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”* Luke 19:10
      - "When John, who was in prison, heard about the deeds of the Messiah, he sent his disciples to ask Him, “Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else?”
*Jesus replied, “Go back and report to John what you hear and see: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor."* Matthew 11:2-5
Now second, let's look at some real-life changing intercessions in Scripture:
      - The royal official interceded for his sick son. (John 4:43-54)
      - The Centurion interceded for his paralyzed/suffering servant. (Matthew 7:5-13)
      - The men interceded for a paralytic. (Matthew 9:1-8)
      - A ruler interceded for his dead daughter. (Matthew 9:18-26)
      - A man interceded for his son who was demon possessed. (Matthew 17:14-19)
      - Some people interceded for a deaf/mute man. (Mark 7:31-37)
      - A woman interceded for her demon possessed daughter. (Mark 7:24-30)
Amazing...Mary's only concern ("intercession") was that the wedding party had run out of wine, a consumable beverage that people can get drunk on!!
Gee...sure looks like Mary wasn't on the same page as Jesus!
So, next time you are at a wedding, and they run out of wine, you be sure and let Mary know....okay!
...And leave all the life changing miracles for Jesus.

I have provided the holy scripture to provide insight as to Catholic dogma on the Eucharist - the REAL presence. I find it problematic Dr White isnt able to do same for his audiences. The Son of Man, explanation given by White is well known for thousands of years, it is a term the Jewish faithful would correlate to the prophets. However, Dr White has a recurring habit in his apologetics to jump around a lot instead of making his point. Why doesn't not make his path straight, instead digressing about new words, anecdotes, describing the Son of Man all unnecessary to refute or debunk the Eucharist. If he has the proof of this let him cut to the chase using scripture in the all the Holy Bible to do so. For 1500 years before the protestant church began it's movement of faith alone, all early Christians ( Catholics and Orthodox) believed then and do now, the REAL PRESECNCE OF CHRIST JESUS in the Eucharist. Let that sink in.
There is nothing NEW that Dr White can demonstrate, but he tries...However, if Jesus wanted to double down on belief alone for his Eucharist remembrance, he would have said it, correct? Jesus goes on to say " I live because of the Father, so he who eats me will live because of me." again He didn't say " same as believing in His divinity. When the multitude are leaving Jesus and his apostles tell Him that the saying is hard to accept, does Jesus reassure them that it is a metaphor or parable and that he meant belief in Him being the Savior? NOPE. As you will SEE believe St Paul ALSO believes and CAUTIONS those believing Christians NOT to take the Eucharist UNWORTHILY. Finally, below you see that purposely Jesus did not REVEAL His identity to the 2 men on the road Emmaus until He Blessed and broke the bread...then VANISHED. Some protestants like to jest that Jesus isn't inside a wafer of Bread. Jesus is God and He has already proven He is capable of all miracles and He also has proved He is diligent to fulfill all prophecies and truths of His Word.
Truly. as his vocation, I hope Dr White do a little more due diligence in his anti-Catholic rhetoric. Also, seriously researching the miracles of Eucharist throughout the ages, with more modern miracles' findings making scientists scratch their heads. You won't hear on mainstream news, just like you won't hear the miracles of the Shroud of Turin. RESEARCH and READ and learn for yourselves.
    JOHN 6:45:
It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’ Every one who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me. 46 Not that any one has seen the Father except him who is from God; he has seen the Father. 47 Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes has eternal life. 48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died. 50 This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that a man may eat of it and not die. 51 I am the living bread[c] which came down from heaven; if any one eats of this bread, he will live for ever; and the bread which I shall give for the life of the world is my flesh.”
52 The Jews then disputed among themselves, saying, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?”[d] 53 So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you; 54 he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. 56 He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats me will live because of me. 58 This is the bread which came down from heaven, not such as the fathers ate and died; he who eats this bread will live for ever.”
    Luke 22:15:
And he said to them, “I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. 16 For I tell you I will not eat it[a] until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.” 17 And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he said, “Take this, and divide it among yourselves. 18 For I tell you that from now on I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.” 19 And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” 20 And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.[b]
    ST PAUL
    1 Corinthians 23:
For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “This is my body which is for[c] you. Do this in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way also the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.
    Partaking of the Supper Unworthily
27 Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of profaning the body and blood of the Lord. 28 Let a man examine himself, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup. 29 For any one who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment upon himself.
    Luke 24:28
So they drew near to the village to which they were going. He acted as if he were going farther, 29 but they urged him strongly, saying, “Stay with us, for it is toward evening and the day is now far spent.” So he went in to stay with them. 30 When he was at table with them, he took the bread and blessed and broke it and gave it to them. 31 And their eyes were opened, and they recognized him. And he vanished from their sight.
    CLEMENT OF ALEXANDRIA
“’Eat my flesh,’ [Jesus] says, ‘and drink my blood.’ The Lord supplies us with these intimate nutrients, he delivers over his flesh and pours out his blood, and nothing is lacking for the growth of his children” (The Instructor of Children
ST. IGNATIUS of Antioch on the Eucharist in his Letter to the Smyrnaeans:
“Take note of those who hold heterodox opinions on the grace of Jesus Christ which has come to us, and see how contrary their opinions are to the mind of God. . . . They abstain from the Eucharist and from prayer because they do not confess that the Eucharist is the flesh of our Savior Jesus Christ, flesh which suffered for our sins and which that Father, in his goodness, raised up again. They who deny the gift of God are perishing in their disputes.”
The earliest Christians were much more informed without their faith being watered down by 500 years of protestant interpretations. The belief in Jesus' REAL presence for His future believers is essential and let's not forget Jesus said He is with us always until the close of the age.

It's abundantly obvious what's driving the surge into Catholicism: aesthetics and a lack of national identity. It used to be that it was un-English or un-American to be a Roman Catholic. Now, many see Catholicism as the defence against internationalism and the patron of beautiful things.
There's just one problem: Protestantism built Western identity as we know it. Protestant culture gave us Bach, Mozart, etc. Catholicism gave us the French Revolution, the font of all the modern anarchy. And Catholicism will always, always have one problem: the plain sense interpretation of the NT does not support Catholic doctrine. There are no bishops or priests in the NT; episkopos, poimen, and presbyteros are all used synonymously. Nowhere in the NT are works described as contributing to a future declaration of righteous; in fact, Paul says the exact opposite.
It will take time for these reactionary zoomer types to realise this, but Catholicism is not the salvation of the West. Besides the future of Rome looking as progressive as any liberal protestant church, Catholicism erodes national identity in service of a supra-national bond. It's why English Kings resisted Roman rule WAY before Henry VIII. Rome had a chance to heal the Reformation in the 1520s; there were multiple attempts by Protestants to achieve unity. Rome chose the Council of Trent. They chose disunity.

Um, Protestants actually destroyed much of the art of western civilization in their iconoclasm. Mozart was a Protestant? Not only was he Catholic but many of his compositions were meant for the Catholic mass. Johann Christian Bach converted to Catholicism, Beethoven was Catholic, Haydn was Catholic, Schubert was Catholic, Vivaldi was Catholic etc. etc. etc.
The French revolution to any one who has studied it was clearly a revolt against Catholicism. The secret groups behind it were from Protestant Germany. The Illuminati were mostly Protestant aristocrats with a vendetta against the Church. The protestant reformation itself was primarily an act of moral independence for German aristocrats, many of whom were immersed in the occult. They could marry and divorce at will, seize church property, oppress the poor through usury and economic monopolies which was blessed by their ministers as the "Protestant Work Ethic".
The protestant countries were the first to promote no fault divorce, contraception, and abortion. Again, the Protestant countries promoted the occult with spiritualism and later theosophy. One member of protestant Prussia's secret service named Theodor Reuss founded the Gnostic Theosophic O.T.O. which is responsible for most of the mess of the modern world. The German catholic bishops, thanks to their protestant influences were most responsible for introducing Protestant corruptions within the Catholic church and the morals of many of her members saw a corresponding decline that began to match that of the protestant nations.
American and British Protestants and their theosophic brethren were the ones behind the creation of the U.N. Protestant Germans are running the E.U. Globalism is the result of trying to fill the void that Protestants created when they eradicated the Church in their countries.
The Catholics chose disunity by not handing over the entire church to the demands of a handful of terrorists? Unity must not be maintained at the expense of truth. One could more correctly say that the Protestants chose disunity. They were invited twice to Trent but refused to attend.
The greatest patriots and resistors of tyranny were Catholic, Joan of Arc, William Wallace,, Rob Roy MacGregor, Robert Bruce, Eamon de Valera, Francisco Franco, Miguel Pro, Colonel José Moscardó Ituarte etc. etc. etc.
The early Protestants on the other hand often engaged in what can only be described as treason. John Knox encouraged Scotland's ancient enemies the English to invade Scotland to overthrow the mildest dynasty in history, the Stewarts. Many German and Hungarian protestants actually sided with the Turks against Europe. Britain sided with the Ottoman empire against Christian Russia in the Crimean war.
The modern spirit is the spirit of Protestantism used against itself. The protestant says I don't need priests or bishops between me and Jesus, I have the bible. This evolved to I don't need the bible between me and Jesus I have the holy spirit speaking through me with the Quakers. The Protestant created "enlightenment" decided we don't need Jesus between us and God, we have nature. With theosophy it was decided that we didn't need any god since we were god.

God created the heavens and earth and He was delighted with all his works. How is it possible, based on the 'elect' idea of protestants, that His eyes were already laying charges upon the Angel (who became Satan) before His Angel had actually sinned, based on His own words: This is Good, this is very good?
Don't get me wrong. I do love protestants. It was protestants who brought me out of the Jehovah's Witness religion and to accepting trinity. But from time too time protestants tend to cross examine people who are new to the faith like British Crown Curt Barristers. But if you look at God's word, it teaches disciples to be compassionate, having deep respect etc...

The part where the Bible says that Mary intercedes between the Son and men is in the Gospel of John chapter 2 verses 1-11.
1.- Jesus' first miracle was through the Intercession of the Virgin Mary.
Let's explain this passage in detail to see what happened:
"Three days later, there was a wedding in Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.
Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding.
When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus said to him, 'They have no wine.'
And Jesus said to her, 'Woman, what does this have to do with me? My hour has not yet come.'
His mother said to the servants, 'Do whatever he tells you.'
Now there were six stone water jars there for the Jewish rites of purification, each holding twenty or thirty gallons.
... The master of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and did not know where it came from (though the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom
and said to him, 'Everyone serves the good wine first, and when people have drunk freely, then the poor wine. But you have kept the good wine until now.'
This, the first of his signs, Jesus did at Cana in Galilee, and manifested his glory. And his disciples believed in him." Jn 2:1-11

You are Reiterating Roman Catholic doctrines that aren’t Biblical.
In fact, they are anti-Christ. Mary was formed by God for His glory; not hers. She had nothing inherent that would cause Him to choose her; therefore, you are an idol worshipper and idol worshippers will not inherit the kingdom of God
      1 Corinthians 6:9 1 Corinthians 4:7

      Isaiah 43:7
everyone who is called by My name, and I have created him for My glory; I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
The Roman Catholic Church is an apostate church. Don’t put your faith in an apostate church. You are suppose to trust God through Christ. His blood and imputed righteousness are the only grounds of salvation and faith in that saves; Mary isn’t involved. It is God who justifies through Christ; not the apostate church or the doctrines of Mary that were created by the apostate church inspired by Satan or Lucifer

God chose Mary to be mother of Jesus. Mary was the first Christian and the tabernacle of Jesus for nine months. The annunciation is a mystery, the Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary and Jesus became flesh in Mary’s womb. Jesus was human flesh from Mary and Divinity by
the Holy Spirit. The Angel Gabriel said to Mary “ Hail full of Grace” meaning Mary is “always filled with Gods Love” We pray with Mary, the Angels, Martyrs and Saints we give all praise, thanks and Glory to the Holy Trinity before the Throne of God.
    Ave Maria 🙏
The Eucharist is also a mystery as is the Trinity,
Read John 6 with the eyes of faith..
    Jn 6: 52
    The Jews who
    quarrelled
among themselves, saying, “How can this man give us [his] flesh to eat?”
    53. Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you.
    54
    Whoever eats
my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day.
    55
For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink.
    56
Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him.
Many disciples walked away from Jesus and many still do. These are the teaching of the Catholic Church for 2,000 years
    and cannot
be changed as that is what Jesus himself said.
Thank God.. Jesus I trust in you..🙏

@@alfredsanchez9307 in the Catholic Church the Holy Spirit is God. Jesus said “I and the Father are one” Jn 10: 30-38, the Holy Spirit is the Holy breath (Sanctus Spiritus) which is the love between the Father and Son. The same Holy Spirit that overshadowed Mary to conceive Jesus who is God revealed in the flesh. We believe that Jesus is God revealed in the Flesh which is in Jn 6. Jesus in womb of Mary is the beginning of the Mystical body of Christ and just as Mary went in haste to her Cousin Elizabeth and John the Baptist was sanctified in Elizabeth womb by the power of the Holy Spirit, we have Pentecost shortly where the Holy Spirit overshadows the Apostles and Mary and instructs them to go out.. God is a mystery, as is the Trinity, the Virgin birth and the Eucharist revealed by
