    The businesses on the beach rent the sun beds, but they cannot prevent you from laying your towel. Therefore, you can comfortably lay your towel wherever you want and swim or sunbathe.^^

      @@TwoMadExplorers Beaches in Turkey belong to the public. Even if it is leased to businesses, it is only rented for their business. Citizens can use the beaches as they wish as long as they do not use what the businesses offer. You can enjoy the beach with your own towel, umbrella or food. If there's a beach staff trying to you argue otherwise, simply say to them, "Let's call the gendarmerie/police and ask." and they'll pull back immediately.^^

    Yep, seems to me the second A in Babadaa would be elongated. The g is definitely silent, and s or c with the accent under is sh or ch. c without the accent is j ;) Thanks for the comprehensive tour!! I'll be there in 3 weeks

    It looks like Turkey has more modern facilities for tourists, better service and definitely food than many European touristy countries. Not to mention the landscape, monuments, etc.

    Also, I wanted to add that I like how the two of you take turns with the camera and not talking over each other.
    Enjoy your next adventure!

    babadağ = g is indeed silent and the last a must be stretched just like you assumed. also dağ means mountain and baba means father.

    Why is it so many Turks leave their country to earn money abroad or to live outside Turkey?

    • @cemdursun
      @cemdursun ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Because for most people it is simply not possible to earn enough to have time and money to actually enjoy. And the oppressive and corrupt government doesn't help at all.

    • @TwoMadExplorers
      @TwoMadExplorers  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Unfortunately the same situation for many countries that we have visited. It’s sad to see, because some of the most beautiful parts of the world have these concerns.
