Great fix i recently determined this to be likely issue I'm having. i installed high speed motor into well drum mag due to their poor feeding rate it improved but still inconsistent. i have found with smaller gels that a layer or two of tape on the feed track under the cog can help
Yes I met the same problem as your when building a DSG 6.5 : 1 + 18 TPA motor with M170 Spring. So... nahhh, bye bye Gelblaster DSG. It cannot feed properly :'( * I don't have enough time to mod the mag, having a spring pushing the gel batch downward and create the "tunel" so that gel will fall into the spinning gear in Queue :'( -> However you derive the solution reducing the Voltage, which 's brilliant. I haven't think about that before. * One more note: The spinning gear has oval shape will wrap the gel into the feeding pipe better than circle one. I dun't know why cause I don't have slow motion camera. You can R&D the spinning gear on J8 magazine and put it in the new mag to test.

We need some more content bro things aren't the same without anything new from you, i got heaps happening all at the same time and already have the blasters and nearly everything for the builds, the hl-015 honey badger with the mk hpa gearbox and a jack just has to be put together then test and tune and have pretty much everything for the falkor blitz, im going a scythe gearbox a Apache adjustable tpiece leviathan 16's and a 35k base model warhead motor and still got my gbf badger but haven't used it but standard buying some upgrades and thought about throwing the extra Apache in that but just found out Scotty from xforce has done his badger with a Apache he beat me to it
I bailed from the sport bud, not really interested anymore due to the ammo type. If we ever get bbs then I’ll be back, until then sim racing is my new time waster ✌🏽

I have a 9:1 DSG, 35k Warhead with a M160 spring.. Running on stock LDT mags..
The mag isn't your problem, probably tappet timing..

Try warinterest magazines they seem to feed fine at high speed
