I watched a Star Wars Central video on Satele a few days ago. In it, he said that another Jedi prophesied that Satele would eventually fall to the darkside. I think that would be a great story arc for those who killed Theron or left him to die, even though I can never bring myself to do it, lol. Her anger over losing the son that she had abandoned and just recently reconciled with would be the one thing that I think would cause her to fall. Especially if the character who killed Theron is the Jedi Knight that Satele had so much hope in and promoted to Master herself. There's a brief scene on Tython in the JK story where you get to decide what happens to the new Matriach for betraying Master Orgus. Satele says what the woman did was unforgivable if you tell her to give the woman another chance. When I heard that I was like whoa, aren't Jedi supposed to be forgiving? Especially the Grand Master? I realized then that it wouldn't take much for her to go darkside on someone.
It would be very interesting if there was an option like that available. =) Satele has for sure some darker side in herself, let´s bring it out devs and writers! =D
I blame Satele's lack of responses more on the writing masquerading as Satele's characterization. Unfortunate, too, since Echoes overall is some solid writing. That said, Theron is either a friend or lover, and he's always still part of the Alliance. None of my toons have gone so far as to banish or kill him (but I tend to play light-sided characters haha).
Yes, I tend to agree. But I don´t think this is just a case of Satele but writing overall. If the writers develop and diversify the stories more, even more would they have to come up with in the future (or at least it would be expected of them) but... as we know it all costs time and money so we get what we get. ;) I am then happy for all the Therons in your gameplays! =P Let´s hope devs will keep him involved for the players that kept him as much as possible.
I tend to play ruthless psycho dark side toons and yet I can NEVER bring myself to kill or banish him. My War did hate his guts at first but grew to be really close, even believed he didn't actually betray her (she does have experience in that sector....Quinn)
Glad i watched this so i dont need to finish my dark side jedi knight then i was curious what satale would say if you left theron to die as a jedi knight especially as dark side with all of the past history with satale but if its a generic response across the board regardless like it seems to be then back to the tech classes and back to empire side home sweet home
To be honest, I never knew that Satele was Theron's mother until later on in the story. How is she able to be a mother and a Jedi Grand Master at the same time?
So family name "Shan" give you no clues, eh? She gave Theron birth is secret and then another master took the baby and hide him. After that Theron was raised as "orphan of war" if I remember it correctly. Satele never seen him again in a long 20+ years so this "sin" Jedi order let slipped. Also Satele told Theron's father that child died during birth (again I read the book long ago and can be incorrect)
She decided to not be a mother. She gave Theron to another Jedi: Master Zho, the one who Theron constantly quotes in combat. It's why she is confronting you in this cutscene about. It's a soft affirmation that she feels guilty about being absent from his life.

It´s "Festival dress" - set, I remember getting it from the Cartel market, not sure if it´s still there though.
