The side stick looks great. The passengers will love drinking their $3 water cups because of the quality flying it provides. (If you’re reading this, you an awesome and unique person. Have an amazing day :)
I just received mine last night flew A320 from TJSJ to KMCO. I think this has been my best Airbus flight, thanks to the Thrustmaster Flightstick. Absolute joy. If you fly Airbus this is a must have Thanks for this video Jeff
I am an Airbus pilot, I was also fortunate enough to have an opportunity to try it out. Needless to say, I’m obsessed with X Plane now. That being said, the most realistic part of this side stick the travel distance when making adjustments. I also tried the LogiTech 3D pro, and one thing I noticed about that that really isn’t a thing when you’re actually flying an Airbus is how dramatically and immediately you can make adjustments. A real Airbus side stick has a “dead zone” if you will. A short period of time where the aircraft doesn’t respond to your inputs. It takes a small amount of time from the time when you input a turn and when the aircraft is actually in the turn. You get what I’m saying. Interesting product though!
2theSkysStudios I get what you mean, the instruments are probably the best part of the simulator. It helps with real training but eh the physics, well, they’re desktop physics. They are good for what they have to work with. When 2020 comes out VFR practice will be a real good wya to practice, for real life.
Man I love those spirit bananas. I dont understand why people hate the airline. Its just so amazing to look out the window see the sunset and the wing telling you Howdy!
The throttle looks nice, will probably add to my collection. However the stick... Well let's face it, it's just a T16000M with a different grip. Changing little buttons aren't enough to make me buy one. That said, if you have no stick at all, it would make a great starter stick for 1 hand flying (and being ambidextrous is handy too.) Looking forward to your thoughts on the throttle quadrant when it comes out, because I don't have any CA throttles, just an old CH glide throttle (gameport! Yeah I am that old), an older model Thrustmaster WCS and my X52 (upgrading to an X56 soon) So I could really go for this throttle to pair up with my Eclipse.
Nice video Jeff! I've been seeing a lot of videos about this new sidestick, and I think yours is the best. I also like how they can sponsor you, but you will still be fair and objective in your opinions.
I fly the A320 for a living and this looks really impressive. Your take-off procedures need a tiny bit of polishing, but this is nit-picking. Besides this video is about the stick and not real-world flying procedures. Thanks for the review!
Just ran across some of your videos, man I gotta say I've been on a binge, I am a aviation nut, but I found you by your cop videos, herd you say you was in aviation, and started checking you out more and like I said I've been on a binge watching your videos, dont comment hardly at all but I felt like this was definitely worth one letting you know to keep doing what your doing because your one of the best out here, your got a channel that anyone can watch, kids to adults, but I will stop rambling on, but you definitely have a awesome youtube channel and just added one more subscriber and fan. Hope your staying safe and making more videos for us to watch. Thank you.
Loving that thrustmaster is focusing on tubeliners for once. And their first foray into our world is truly amazing.....especially at that price point. I am super excited for the entire line up to be released. By the way, i completed a virtual fly survey the other day, and your channel was a topic of conversation. Impressive shit!
Forward stick should be only half way for normal operation. Full forward is for gusty winds situation. Also you should start gradually release the stick at 80kt and be neutral around 100kts. Plus calling your fma is important. Great Job! Love the content
Hi, Jeff, I love the new fight stick I have watched two videos one from frooglesim and the other is from you I love to see more videos come and fly with me
If you can find one for MSRP send it my way quick. The Stick runs $140 to $230. The throttles can be had for $230. So much for value. The clamp is $113.00.
dude when you said the price i literally just woke up so when you said 69.99 I thought it meant 6999 like six THOUSAND 99 lol I was about to say goddamn jeff your getting a good damn deal! I would get the sidestick but I prefer a yoke but it looks very nice!
I'm a Boeing guy, but the 6 hours I had in the Airbus sim (as part of ATP-CTP) was cool. The prices of the stick and thrust levers are stupid cheap for what it is. It's a shame the Go Flight 737 yoke is so expensive...
Tried to buy a flightstick yesterday, looked a week ago and loads in stock everywhere, even these, couldn't buy a single one of anything here in the UK, all major retailers had nothing at all, even cheap ones! Shame, this stick and throttle setup is perfect, missed my chance!
Jeff your awesome Haan I am your big fan and I am from India and I love to watch your xplane 11 videos you fly it good and you tell in between that flaps are at now are that. I love that so we get learn from it your awesome Jeff your awesome . A salute to you man🙋♂️
Hello Jeff how you doing I hope you're doing great this was a great video I really love you and I really love your content keep up the good work have a great day .
Jeff is one of the only people I actually listen to when they talk about stuff during videos
Have you checked out airforceproud95? Hilarious channel of him and his buds clowing around in FS X..
The side stick looks great. The passengers will love drinking their $3 water cups because of the quality flying it provides.
(If you’re reading this, you an awesome and unique person. Have an amazing day :)
To jeff

Thanks
whoring up likes without asking. ill GIVE you one for that.
you notice now that youtube being as being non original, everyone else will start copying you. yours was the first time i ever recall seeing this.
15:49 *Thunk*
Jeff: Sometimes it's nice to know when you are back on the ground
Lol
15 49 * has sully flashback*
Who else randomly found jeff and has been regularly watching since?
Mayson Sphinx I started since day one lol
I found Jeff back when Lcpdfr MP was the shit... of course it was random and I just clicked on his video but that was some time ago...
imsonutz lol
I started watching ever since the first episode of American truck sim
Same but I’ve been watching him since 2017
Is no one gonna talk about how smooth that first landing was
I just received mine last night flew A320 from TJSJ to KMCO. I think this has been my best Airbus flight, thanks to the Thrustmaster Flightstick. Absolute joy. If you fly Airbus this is a must have Thanks for this video Jeff
I think the best thing about this is that the prices are just spot on for what you get. It's not something ridiculous!!! This is good!

I've never wanted to play this simulator more than I do now ! Thank you for the video Jeff ✌️
I believe. He got me into playing ats.
Give it a month for fs2020 and your mouth will be watering
I love it when people show their inputs like Jeff did with the camera showing his hand and the stick
Ima buy that trustmaster... damn it looks so good playing with xplane
Well technically not “playing” xplane
2theSkysStudios no, no...you are playing. It’s still just a game on a desktop.
Airwipe sure I like to treat not as a game but fair enough

XPlane is Out on that Day when Microsoft Flightsimulator 2020 is on Market.
Jeff got everything in real life so it seems like he’s flying a real plane in real life
That’s the point so it’s a bit more realistic
I’m so happy to see X-Plane and the airbus return. I’m definitely more familiar with the airbus cockpit so I look forward to the upcoming videos
Man I love those spirit bananas. I dont understand why people hate the airline. Its just so amazing to look out the window see the sunset and the wing telling you Howdy!
Been waiting all day for this video. Thanks Jeff!

That landing was like butter
I pre-ordered the stick and the throttle quadrant. Expect it in September.
Same
Me too except Europe says 22nd October which is where I am right that. So that sucks

@@ZackWolfMusic The earth is cubic, every real pilot knows this but we keeps this to ourselves for the lulz.
Chris Johnson The earth is a sphere you degenerate
Jeff is the only person that I know that has a shit load of gaming stuff from A to Z

I love it when he plays x plane 11
That's almost all he plays
ready for mine to come, ordered today and it should be here Wednesday
Just watched the film 7500 on Prime. The Side Stick is featured quite prominently.
Has anyone realized that Jeff is the best TH-camr
Positive rate - touch brakes - gear up

I literally just preordered it because of this video. What am I doing!? Thanks Jeff 😂
With your content, you deserve much more than a few thousand views every video.
the price is quite attractive. love your videos my friend. been subbed quite awhile. you never release a bad video
Hi, Jeff, I love the new fight stick I have watched two videos one from frooglesim and the other is from you I love to see more videos come and fly with me
Nice idea but not sure why they couldn't make it look like the actual sidestick.
Great landings in the long banana Jeff! 🤣👍

I haven't played any flight simulator for a while since my current pc can't handle it... It's going to be a learning curve to fly again *sigh*
So much fun though!
Very informative and in-depth video great job Jeff.
Just the 16000m with less buttons.. I like it
I hope this New Flightstick works also on a XBox X. Cause the best Flightsim and Hardware for this Year will be from Microsoft.
Ordered from Walmart!! I should have it on the 14th👍
Jeff amazing upload you did today stay safe and have a great day
I have been waiting so long for x-plane 11
When will they do Boeing?
In Canada, I ordered 2-3 months ago and only received last week. Looking forward to setting it up. Thanks for the videos, Jeff.

That side stick is so awesome
Oh I need this - thanks for the in-depth review Jeff. Great video!
Is thrust master going to release a yoke and throttle quadrant that replicate the real life aircraft for Boeing aircraft?
Pre-ordered both! And I hope Jeff flies the A380
Can you show your yoke or side stick and throttle in future videos I really like it thanks
Jeff I miss u from P:LA days
Spirit Airlines... their planes take off lighter from the extra cash demanded from the passengers before boarding
This is so cool! Keep up the work Jeff 👍
I don't always do touch-and-go's. But when I do, I always do it in an Airbus.
I'm a Boeing guy, but the 6 hours I had in the Airbus sim (as part of ATP-CTP) was cool. The prices of the stick and thrust levers are stupid cheap for what it is. It's a shame the Go Flight 737 yoke is so expensive...
I already have a stick and rudder pedals, but man this is really making me want to get it and get back into flying!
It looks very similar to my existing Thrustmaster stick
This is the best you tuber ever I like his videos
I found him thru bugs and love the whole group great videos
Very cool video Jeff. Love the stick!
Nice video
On take off the engines sounded like space X rocket launch 🤣🤣
2:23
I'm still using the stick in my right hand when I'm in the captains seat lol
I just bought both the side stick and throttles lol
that pickle switch though
Great video, looking forward to the next videos with the throttle
Yet again the Thumbnail is great
Jeff you incouraged me to prolly get that setup tomorrow. Thx
Next time you play xplane can you do a water landing in a plane that you chose?
Today is Jeff day to me. 😂
Tried to buy a flightstick yesterday, looked a week ago and loads in stock everywhere, even these, couldn't buy a single one of anything here in the UK, all major retailers had nothing at all, even cheap ones! Shame, this stick and throttle setup is perfect, missed my chance!
I’m soooooooo excited for this joystick
Cool Video but you forgot the part where they cancel your flight
I wonder how these will compare to the honeycomb quadrant.. I’ll wait for the reviews of both 🙌🏻
Very detailed amazing video! Keep up the good work Jeff! I'm soon ordering it!

Why would someone release two products that really need to be together 4 months apart?
Jesus fucking christ all you do is hate on the fucking sim you've made 12 fucking comments hating on the sims and the channel just stfu already
@@sddtyw_8623 its a fair comment, was thinking the same myself.
