In this video, I show you several of my planners from years past. And yes, I'm a Planner Geek! While I liked many of them, I've been waiting to fall in love! I think I may have found it in this Laurel Denise Planner! It's unlike anything I've ever used before.

Jeannie, as someone who really wants to be an organized person, but I struggle, could you do another video showing how you color coordinate and organize your planner? Basically planning for dummies? 😂 i’m definitely going to try this planner and see if I can stick with it.

My mom passed away 5 years ago, she loved writing things down and had random notes all over random planners we found, it was comforting and so is this. ❤️

Honestly don’t throw them away! I personally love looking at older family members ledgers! It tells u a lot about a person and gives you something ultra personal to pass down. It’s the same as passing down journals. It’s a beautiful thing really. Keeping them is a great idea, as long as u have somewhere to put them❤️
I love Notebooks and it’s always a struggle finding that one notebook that has the perfect size of lines and coloured paper 😂 sometimes I’ll buy a notebook with a nice cover and I’ll never use it, but it’s always nice to look at 😂

Hello dear Jeannie! I 've had a bizarre week; my grandfather (98) passed away. This video is a welcome distraction. I use paper planners too and I make to-do lists all the time. I got that from my mom. Which is funny, she also keeps all her planners. Liefs XO Anke

I've done paper and digital and I think I like paper with a digital calendar for reminders. There's also a therapeutic aspect to paper planning.

I am using a Hobonichi Cousin for the first time this year and it is exactly what I was looking for. I love fountain pens too and the papers perfect for them
I am currently enjoying three things that l absolutely adore : decorating the tree, listening to your comforting voice and a nice cup of coffee ☕.

i keep two! I have a planner/calendar where I write my “to-do” list everyday. Then I have one to keep in my purse that is a small calendar where I can just see what day it is and there is just enough room to write things like appointments and such.
I‘m a 20 year old girl and I‘m also using not only a planner, but also a book journal, a daily journal, a movie/series journal, I make a journal for every vacation and it‘s so beautiful. My phone could never. Thank you for this amazing video.

I just discovered this channel and I'm obsessed, this video managed to completely calm me down during an anxious morning... something that doesn't happen with asmr videos for me. I always buy cheap planners at the start of the year and end up abandoning it when things start to get a little more chaotic, but now I'm thinking about really committing to it for 2024

This was such a great video. So relaxing. And that planner looks amazing!
My family moved from the States to the UK when I was younger, away from extended family. This video reminds me so much of my grandmother who I see rarely now. She has had the same big planners (like the ones featured early in this video) for as long as I can remember, probably has been organizing her whole life! This video just feels very comforting, maybe because she has a similar striking beauty to yours, and always kept her nails the way you do here so I'm reminded of her. Plus the accent of course! My grandmother was an avid reader too before her dementia started to progress... she still looks at her planner all the time though, sitting open in her hallway or kitchen as she's always done it! She is just the most wonderful person.

A Disc bound planner with metal rings, awesome covers, a hole punch that isn't too hard on the hands to use + google slides + a printer = my formula for planner peace. I make the planner inserts to fit exactly what I need instead of having to fit my self to something not made for me. Steep learning curve, but so worth it!

i used to use a planner when i was a middle school/early high school student. i liked it, but after a while i started to get in the habit of memorizing my assignments, especially because during my freshman and sophomore year of college. I was only taking four classes at a time and had no trouble just remembering what I had to do every day.. but this year, I started attending a university in Japan. In Japan, I take eight classes at a time. Needless to say, i needed a planner, and i’ve started using one again. I love it! I use the hobonichi weeks.
I love paper and writing and coloring all. It is like with books and e-books. Yes, an e-Book reader is really practical for traveling and having a lot of books with you. And yeah, planner in your phone is always and everywhere with you and you don’t have to take a book with you. BUT to have paper in your hands, the smell and the crinkle and scrolling through the pages with your hands… all the haptically stuff ❤ I just love it!!!

Hi Jeannie! I love your channel and have been watching from the very beginning. Ha Ha! I noticed the planner in your purse video, I think you commented on it. I also am a planner person and at this point am the last person I know personally who still uses a paper planner. Even my stepdad who purchased my first Daytimer Planner for me in 1991 for college use has switched over to using his phone instead. Not me, still using my Daytimer! I have tried different sizes but mostly use the portable size. I always use the Daytimer brand pages and am terrified they are going to stop making them! I already have my 2024 set with all the reference pages they provide. I have so many sections for so many different areas of life, I would be totally lost without it, it goes everywhere I go. Happy to see I am not the only one😊

Hello my name is Betsy and i am a plannerholic. I have found a monthly planner and a bullet journal/notebook is perfect for me. That way my daily planning in the notebook can change as i need it. I also like i can try different layouts and if I dont plan a few days, nothing is wasted.

Aw, this is so kind! The course I took is no longer in existence. But I think you could search around in YT. There are tons of videos that show how people do their planning. (And it’s free!)
I was going to suggest bullet journals for you, if you wanted to design your perfect planner! I find myself using a spreadsheet to try to keep at least my video topics organized. I'll use it a lot this month! I really like your videos! Thank you! 😄🥰

I have used my Daytimers for years! I have boxes and boxes of them. I totally get your love of a paper planner but I am NOT as adventurous as you with planners but will take a closer look at the one you chose!

After your video I now have a stock of plastic wallets for different bags in our cloakroom and choose different ones for different outings. I just broke down this year and bought a paper planner (and stickers) to back up the phone calendar. I don't think I've kept a paper one for at least 9 years, but I things were getting buried or forgotten about.

For years I’ve been bullet journaling crossed with art journaling but I’m heading into parenting for my first time in 2024 (baby due end of Jan) and I know I wont’ have the time to make my own planner spreads the way I used to. So hearing about what’s worked for you has been helpful!
