You got me at "TARDIS-like practicality" 🤣 I've got a 3rd generation Fabia, lovely and surprisingly powerful car.

Great review. Would moving from a mk7 Golf to a monte carlo be a wise move I wonder? Also, on brakes, are they drum brakes on entry models and disc brakes on higher spec?

@@itselvizremember this car is a supermini the mk7s interior quality is worlds away from these(everything you touch is the same quality e.g steering wheel hand break gear leaver) but if u want a smaller car these are still very good car’s for the price just remember what this car is

I don't think the plastics are any different all a load of rubbish, it's all down to badge snobbery VW can drop the price of the Fabia due to the larger profits from the Polo. In manufacturing it's all smoke and mirrors, make people think they are getting a better car by different marketing using badge snobbery and the UK has buckets of that a marketing managers dream. While car journalist keep saying the quality is not as good because it's a Skoda the likes of the marketing team are always on a winner, a go ahead to increase the prices of their so called premium cars!!!

Only problem its not best value, its pretty expensive now and i don't see point of buying new skoda fabia when you can buy 2-3 year old bigger and more equipped car for same money
