Theres a interview on the net were Ghost said he wrote a good amount of Supreme Clientele rhymes while he was in Africa, he wanted to come up with a style that sounded dope, he admitted that a lot of the rhymes didn't make sense, he just rhyming words because it sounded cool, he said the rhymes aint layerd and there is no deep meaning. He abandoned this style because he didn't want to be known as the dude who dont make sense. Ghost is one of the greatest still.

He got that from the Martin tv show where he plays the character Dragonfly Jones. It’s the scene where they were in Gina’s apartment. lol.

The key to ghost lines is slang and not reading everything literally. So when he say “hit the run slow, parole kids love rapunzel” I’d imagine that means they on house arrest how rapunzel was in the tower type shit
Ghosts rhymes are very intricate and trying to figure them out is impossible. Also alot of younger listeners won't understand his references because he rhymes about things from the 80s hood youth. All of Wu. also sprinkle in 5Percenter Nation of GOds and Earths knowledge. A few easier references Calvin Coolers were wine coolers that everyone used to drink , Flickin Deuce Pictures references back in the 80s in NYC on 42nd street you had these dudes with these stands who took pictures in front of backdrops for $5 or $10 that would say like Paid in Full or , gettin money , etc... my man got bigger dimes ($10 bags of weed) your shit is scampi (skimpy, not worth the money) , sprinkle a little snow (coke) in the optimo (the blunt) , Starsky(another ghost name) with the Gumsole (the sole of a Clarks Wallaby) and yes , Darts are verbal darts.
