I dont think anyone can match your professionalism in the pilot's seat, nor do I think I'd need to take any medicine to fly with you. The confidence you project, even in your 'new' aircraft, is spectacular. Thanks for letting us fly with you!
Kay, you and your dad make a great team. I am a nervous flyer, but I am improving! You are so skilled and confident that it helps me to relax. And your love of flying is contagious! So happy to have discovered you!! BTW, you are a stellar role model for so many young women!
Hi Kay, great to see you and pops, I love the camera angles and I love how Mystik sounds on start up and take off, she's a great bird. Take care , safe flying and keep up the great video's my friend.
You’ve probably been told already, but the music you’ve been including lately is also used by a popular cruise channel La Lido Loca. Tony would play it during his cruise news segments, so I find myself singing, “cruise news and my views” during those musical interludes. Guess I watch way too much YT. Love the new airplane!
Have to say was great hearing you say its your dads responsibility to check on the cameras as at that moment you don't care as you are concentrating on flying. so many would do the other. shows real professionalism in your flying and situational awareness love that. only recently found your videos and really enjoy them and how calm you were in the situation with the door and just concentrated on aviating. great videos.
I could have seen you fly over, just a few miles north of Addison. After watching many Pilot Debriefs, I really appreciate your flying skill and professionalism. Your videography is great. If I had a reactive chair, it would almost feel like being in the plane.
👍hi Kay and dad hope you are well.brilliant flight not too bad the rain kept off for you. beautiful scenery with well broken cloud ☁️ and a awesome landing by our Kay. Take care and good luck for the future Phil 👍🍀🇬🇧
It looks like they've renovated the elevator in the Arch. It looks a lot nicer than it used to. Probably a lot smoother too. Love your videos! thanks, Kay!
I might be coming to Houston this coming February on business. Maybe I can stop in Houston to meet the family. Loving Mystic but actually missing Lol Red.
Kay, you're getting good greasing those landings! Everytime the left wing camera was showing Mystique in profile, I kept thinking, 'What a good looking plane.' Makes me want to get a twin rating and get one myself. LOL
Just found your channel (recommended by Hoover on Pilot Debrief) and you do not disappoint! You are a great pilot and fun to watch as you fly. Thanks for letting us come along with you on your adventures.
I really enjoy your trips and especially your very courteous and professional way of communicating with ATC. You definitely catch more flies with honey!
My Grand daughter worked for Cobham Aviation as a cabin attendant she has just been interviewed for senior cabin attendant with Virgin Atlantic things are looking good …Peter retired ex Qantas
Great place to visit is right. Emphasis on visit. St. Louis ranks as the worst city for violent crime in America currently. Absolute shame how that city has gone downhill. Glad to have you back in the great state of Texas. These are the trips I dream of doing with my son soon. We just need to get our instrument done. Also, I’m curious why you went to Addison. That is an extremely busy airport and fuel is expensive. So many better choices around the metroplex.
Thank you for responding to my, Hi! 👋 😊 yesterday afternoon. That was during your live chat. That made my day. 😊👋 I enjoy your videos. I’m a lifetime aviation enthusiast. I have taken lessons in sailplanes. This afternoon dropped by the gliderport for a visit. I hadn’t been in for awhile. And I enjoy flying for breakfast with a pilots group too. I’m considering that for tomorrow morning. 😊
I am from St. Louis! There are nice areas but not downtown so much. Chesterfield is nice and has Spirit of St. Louis airport. Awesome air shows there too. 👍
Thanks Kay. Your Vids keep me Happy Flappy. Going to watch "Mystik Pizza" with Julia Roberts after watching this. Thanks again, from Port Macquarie, Australia. YPMQ 🛩
It threw me a bit when you apparently addressed St Louis Departure as "Houston Departure" I'm surprised they didn't comment on it. 😆 Good to see the whole flight this time, but I'm looking forward to seeing some new adventures. 🙂
Love seeing that great blue sky above the clouds and then what it's like flying through the clouds. Another great video and good to see the door fix stopped the door from popping open again! Doing the relay message was neat, does that happen very much? Cool seeing the Gateway Arch but kind of funny hearing that you don't like heights!
I’m glad you enjoyed this video so much!! That is the first time I’ve ever done a relay for ATC, so no it doesn’t happen very often at all! Haha I’m glad you enjoyed the arch😂
Nice flight Kay thanks😊 Pops needs to use the 12 O Clock method for direction info. High-low-Straight Ahead with distance (approx) given method.😊😊 Example: Aricraft at 2 O'clock Low 1/2 mile.😊
Just recently found your channel and sub'd. Your positive attitude is infectious! Love hanging with you Kay!! Look forward to future flights in your new MystiK! Cheers! ~M
A great video again! 😊At 16:27- a bit cloudy but even no need IFR .😉 And yes Pops, this time the door is closed and locked 🤭 I hope there will be more video on your channel...
@@rayropa625 and fast forwarding us through all the discussion at the beginning (those heads were bobbing a LOT) before sterile cockpit kicked in and the hand went up. 👏
Hi Kay, you are an excellent Pilot when I was watching you piloting the plane l noticed that it was a bit bumpy but you just carried on until you came to a complete standstill on the tarmac, l say well done to you, also l enjoyed the talk back to the tower, so a big thank you to you and others who has made this trimendous video, ...to the pilot keep safe till the next time, (l do like your twin engine plane)
I have to laugh at myself: when you are looking for traffic, I raise my head to see over the cowl as if that makes any difference on a computer screen and or that I could assist you on a pre-recorded video lol. Anybody else find themselves doing this too? Very nice landing by the way! You are my Heroine!
Your upgrade in certs and aircraft has been great to watch. Pops can be somewhat annoying and times but I can never blame a father for protecting his child. Blood is thicker than water.
HI Kay, Just found your channel and subscribed, I'm ready for you to take me along on your flights. I'm very impressed with your thoroughness! Keep the blue side up!
I would love to see you land at Love Field in Dallas. An approach from the North would mean you would fly over Bachman Lake a few seconds before you land. Sounds cool.
I'm glad to see mystic. You're driving mystic plane now. Since it's 12 o'clock in the afternoon. I won't watch ifly that mystic your mystic plane. It's a nice plane. I love it and I like I'm sitting like a if I'm in that plane sitting in the back enjoying the ride.❤
A 360 camera with virutal viewing (or whatever it's called) would be a cool cockpit view, maybe on a different channel.... It'll let us look around and feel like we're in the plane with you.
An interesting observation: when ATC said, "Deviations approved", that is a blanket clearance to deviate left, right, AND up and down! Otherwise, ATC would (should) say, "Left deviation", "right deviation" or "left and right deviations approved", or "deviation as requested approved". Coming from a former ZTL controller who ran into this very scenario some years back when a controller told a fighter jet to "deviate as necessary", and the jet CLIMBED to go over the weather. It caused quite a stir, but the pilot was correct to "deviate as necessary" by climbing, descending, or whatever he wanted to do. FYI! If I were the pilot, however, I would still advise the controller what I'm about to do.
I dont think anyone can match your professionalism in the pilot's seat, nor do I think I'd need to take any medicine to fly with you. The confidence you project, even in your 'new' aircraft, is spectacular. Thanks for letting us fly with you!
It's funny to read your post since I was thinking the same thing as I was watching. I would feel like I was in good hands flying with Kay,
There is careless professionals. I think it's more a will to survive. They pay more attention.
Nice to be in a plane where Tower tells you to slow down! !! !!!
Kay, thanks for taking us along.
