You can actually do this on all the animatronics, but they're crazy expensive, though. Lefty is the easiest one to get, since he's only $5.

What I find interesting about these audio prompts is the last one always seems to have the sound of what seems to be a pinball game and music that you would hear in the pizzeria

The others can also be found hiding in a few of the discount items even after initially being thrown out. The worse the item's condition, the higher the risk.
For instance, before the end of Day 1 Molten Freddy is hiding in one of the discount ball pits. So yeah, you can actually die on Day 1 if you're particularly careless!
I love how the people collecting the animatronic bodies picked up spring trap and you can clearly see through the head there’s a human body trapped in there and they’re just like “meh whatever let’s use it for parts!”

I love how when you put the paper up, the change in the animatronics pose is subtle enough to make you think "wait did that thing move or not?". That kind of uncertainty really heightened my unease when experiencing these salvage mini games for the first time.

I've just noticed something.
If these were regular animatronics you'd just get them from the dump and proceed with the salvage. But not here, you have to play these tapes and document their movement, putting you at risk of death even. If these were normal animatronics there would be no response (unless there is a form of voice commanded animatronics in this universe). But these broken down animatronics aren't. They're possessed by the ghosts of a murderer and his victims, even more so when the audio tracks that play are ambience and sounds from the old Freddy Fazbear pizzeria. The voice on the tapes is Henry and he's been looking for these animatronics, he didn't give you a tazer for no reason because he knows that these animatronics can kill. He knows how they work, what sounds they will react to and if it will illicit a response from them, and if it does then it's one them, the employee takes them in, and they're ones that Henry plans on setting free from their torment.

Fun fact: Because of the way salvage AI works (50% chance to increase an unseen aggression meter by 100 + (50*night) every 10 seconds, combined with the meter beginning at 100 and a jumpscare occuring at 1000) there’s actually a 1/8 chance for Lefty to instantly kill you when you flip the page after the first audio prompt

For those who doesn't know, Baby moved her head a little after he put the paper away. It's barely noticeable and uncanny.
Lefty in PS be like:

well, players wouldn't know that lefty would know he could be salvaged and not provide risk, so it makes sense that this happens specifically in their first playthrough.

How to win every salvage minigame: Before the audio-prompt starts, check all the boxes randomly, then wait it out. If the animatronic moves, shock it.

its not to check if the animatronic moves, you dont even need to check the boxes, you must pay attention on the noises, the tape is just to stimulate the noises that the animatronic does, if you hear a noise thats not from background, or from the tape, you must shock it, even if the animatronic is on a neutral state, if you dont want to lose the salvage

For anyone who wants a hack for salvaging there’s two methods that work.
You can zap the animatronics after prompts 2 and 4. Or wait until the animatronic becomes aggressive by watching for these head movements.
For molten Freddy, his head tilts fully the other way and he leans closer to you when he’s about to attack.
For Afton/Springtrap, his head is completely vertical and not slumped over when hes about to attack.
For Scrap baby, she tilts her head backwards and eyes you when she’s preparing to attack.
Finally for Lefty, instead of leaning his head to the side or sitting up, his head slumps down more when he’s preparing to attack.
Watch for these head movements and you should be fine.

Ennard was made by the funtime animatronics and circus baby. Ennard is a mix of them all but baby controlls the most. After they used the nightguard in sister location and escaped the funtime animatronics where tired of circus baby bossing them around. So they kicked her out of ennard. Removed her wires and then funtime freddy took the role as Ennard becomeing molten freddy

What helps with the disbelief of these salvages is knowing that this isn't what it sounds like the recording, but you as the PARTICULAR character you are, and the tape recorder guy, know what you MUST do.

The trick of the game is after every time you salvaged something there was a sponsorship offer waiting with the exact same price of the salvage. And the secret part only comes if you buy lefty for the 5$ before the salvage time.
Or if you buy a marked down furniture with red caution message in it. I accidentally brought Springtrap this way
What is the ideal strategy for these? When's it ok to take a chance and see if the animatronic reaches its hostile phase before shocking it? How can you avoid going over 3 shocks?

I think knowing their movements is the key. I noticed that the higher the salvage the less obvious the movement is when you look back. I barely noticed Baby’s at all
@@honeybeeami2654 Especially Lefty's. It almost exclusively only moves when it's tazed making it the hardest of all
Each animatronic has multiple moves before it will kill you, you must wait until its at its third stage before shocking it.
(I know this is late but anyone else reading, hope this helps)

In terms of difficulty for each salvage I'dsay it's like this...
Molten Freddy 3/10 Pretty easy depsite how stressful it is salvaging him
Scraptrap 5/10 Medium difficulty, he can be a pain when he wants to and is much more stressful to salvage than Freddy
Scrap Baby 8/10 Difficult but manageable, it's quite easy to fall into her trap with the whole attacking you even during her neutral state thing.
Lefty 9.5/10 Very difficult, he sometimes attacks the moment you pull up the paper which is really unfair. He also attacks during his neutral positions. Also note that him looking down is his hostile state.

With one of the molten Freddy audio thing it sounds like the kitchen theme and molten Freddy is the original 4 or 5 animatronics
