@@Mumbx I used the section where he addresses all of them, the bit where he talks about the screams that are so close, yet so far. we were debating the morality of war, and I used it to describe the mental state of soldiers who joined the army during the great war because they were homeless, and how after war they were just chasing something to do, a life to save.
it’s funny because Henry’s badass speech is kind of ruined because in security breach the animatronics from pizzeria simulator are still alive.

I mean in a way, it did end that *chapter* of FNAF, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. From what I’ve seen the newer games like Help Wanted and Security Breach do a good job at taking what’s already known so far and just expanding upon it and telling engaging stories.

As mixed of a bag as FNAF 3 was, you have to admit its ending delivered on every front. Absolutely iconic, quite possibly the most important moment in the series
The story that evolves from FNAF 1 to FNAF: Ultimate Custom Night is the canon ending in my opinion. While Help Wanted (and to an extent Security Breach) aren't bad games, they don't take the current story and evolve on it all that much. They simply reintoduce old concepts and add new ones that only confuse the player and add more questions.
And the biggest concept is Afton coming the fuck back like he always does

Security Breach is straight up a terrible game: it's clunky, unpolished, full of bugs and the story is terrible (it's even worse if you get a non canon ending)

Simple dear friend: 'Cause it's a horrid madman who's being chased/pursued by the ghosts of the Missing Children, which is him getting only a SMALL portion of his endless karma.
The ending to fnaf 1 always stuck out for one reason. During night 4, the last phone guy call, he clearly died while recording his last message and was stuffed into a Freddy suit. By the end of night 7, you get fired or tempering with the animatronic suits and an odor comes from the suits as well. This makes me think the player was fired for looking into the animatronic suits, looking for phone guys’ body after everything was said and done. That thought makes me feel so bad for the dude. He was just trying to help us get through the week, and we don’t even get to reveal what happened to him.
Even though it’s the most anticlimactic of the endings, there’s something truly chilling about the ending of UCN. The music, somber and sad, because even though you win and Afton continues to burn, the spirit of Golden Freddy choses to be his gatekeeper and torture him for all eternity, rather than finding peace and passing on, as shown by the still possessed suit convulsing and twitching. An innocent child who was turned into a demon of their own, all because of the actions of one sick psychopath……

Fortunately with now Cassidy is confirmed to be Golden Freddy which is the spirit version of Fredbear spring lock suit, the crying child passed on safely and not haunted any of the animatronic.
Connection terminated is definitely the best speech in fnaf and one of the best in gaming, but Michaels in sl hit me in the feels just as hard, pretty underrated, just the way it shows how much mike cares for his family and how much he was willing to go through to set things right

It’s always weird to think about how Security Breach truly is tied into the story a lot more than people think, especially with the subtle hint at Gregory being the gravestone in the back on the hill of FNAF 6’s ending
I still think it wasnt needed. UCN concluded everything until then, but then VR and SB make a new story attached to random stuff. Everyone got their just ending but then glitchtrap happened after nothing, then it died again and resolved something that never needed to be.

Honestly, the two new games are really good on their own, or even just an au. But the whole "antagonist came back from an object!" thing seems like a classic thing to do, and it's kinda boring. Plus, the new game brought William back AGAIN and at this point, it's just getting old.
I still believe that FNaF should have ended with FFPS as it truly feels like an ending to some kind of movie with a plot twist. It also should've ended with that game because every game after UCN was pretty garbage (I still can't believe that SB is an official game, I could go on for years explaining why SB was so shit). VR brought back The Aftons (fuck sake) and *cough* Security breach was uhhh.........
If I was Scott I would've made UCN and move towards prequels and possibly explain why Afton was such a craver for children and bring more attention to Henry while still keeping that FNaF feeling of being a security guard and trying to stay in a claustrophobic room with limited resources (one of the reasons why I hate the recent games being too easy on the player. It's not FNaF if all you get to do is wonder around and have unlimited resources at your disposal).
Sidenote: I find it really funny how the first seven games represents the nights in FNaF (5 main games, bonus 6th game and a customisable 7th game)
Fnaf 6 ending hands down is the best. Henry's lines, Henry's plan and everyone burning to death. Sometimes it gives me goosebumps.

As much as i love this franchise, i still believe that UCN should've been it's end. It's a perfect ending to the main story. William get's what he deserves and everyone that he killed/hurt can finally rest. Even tho Cassidy is still full of hatred ( like it shows in the ucn ending ) she would've eventually " let the demons to his demons " and rest. If scott wanted to continue the franchise that's fine, but i think he went about it the wrong way.
Instead of Vanny's whole deal being bringing back William from the dead, she could've just been a killer who was inspired by him and continue his legacy as a copycat. Her just bringing him back is gonna make Cassidy and the others pissed, thus bringing them back aswell instead of them resting like Fnaf 6, 3 and UCN suggested they did. It's an overall mess and i think ruined the final point that these games tried to make.
It's also a middle finger to everything Michael, Henry and Charlie did to put an end to everyone's suffering.

the golden Freddy ending on UCM is like, my favorite ending out of all of these, cause with its hidden context and meaning, its just so dark… twisted and bone chilling, the thought of the vengeful spirit, finally having its chance to leave it’s vessel and rest but it deciding to stay, and to keep watching and making William Afton suffer, over and over again is just so cold. All of this just being conveyed with Golden Freddy twitching, not giving up and letting itself rest, it’s truly bone-chilling to me
And it felt like fnaf 1-4s endings the feeling of discomfort and confusion but clear at the same time

FNAF just brings me happiness. It’s creepy, mysterious and has a deep, interesting lore.
FNAF 1: A man who put kids’ bodies in machines and they are trying to get revenge. Years pass with that curse. Many theories exist. But we’ll never know.
FNAF 2: The machines are reconstructed and made more appropriate for children, but it isn’t over. We meet the starter of the haunted animatronics. Puppet. She let those kids have revenge, but, the killer tries to hide from them in a suit, which trapped him and scarred him for life. He has regret his life ever since. And will live in pain for the rest of his life.
FNAF 3: He’s hungry for blood and for preys. He gets out in another pizzeria and the kid’s souls follow him, to haunt him and the night guard for eternity. The pizzeria burns down everything which is the end of William Afton/Purple Guy/SpringTrap.
FNAF 4: His son is terrified of animatronics but his brother doesn’t care. He pranks him by making him give Fazbear ‘a big kiss’ but ends up being bitten and paralyzed. While thought-to-be dead, he has a dream, or a nightmare, but, it’s endless. Everything that his friends showed him, his brother’s friends did and his dad showed him made his imagination. The things he was showed created a nightmare with little nightmares in it.
FNAF 5: Meanwhile his father makes new animatronics to bring him back to life, but he accidentally kills his daughter with them. She was stuck in it forever. Crying in pain. They haunt and try to kill the night guard. The kids, all stuck, get killed, the same way you do. Enard gets takes over your body and leaves the place, to fit in society.
FNAF 6: But those animatronics aren’t wasted, they get put in an infinite labyrinth. But Springtrap is back, somehow. They end up being burned in that place. It burns to the ground until everything is turned to ashes.

Vanessa is a killer who wants to assassinate you and destroy the animatronics. There is also the Daycare Attendant. When you escape, the place collapses and you run away.
That’s it. After all these years, starting from kids murdered and put in robot suits to places burning down to survive.

FNAF 6 should’ve been the end of the franchise, it’s such a bitter-sweet end and it serves justice to the franchise.

The way they brought the franchise back was amazingly creative imo.
I think that should have been the end to William for at least a while, play it up theater he’s actually gone, and have him come back later with the same thing they’re doing now

If I'm bring real I love the fnaf 1 and 2 endings. The simplicity accompanied with calming music box music really makes me quite happy.
I like 6 and UCN's ending, for 6 I think it provided pretty good closure and UCN is just, bone chilling, with golden Freddy twitching showing the suit still being possessed by Cassidy and it gave closure on what's happening to William

FNAF 3 ending had to be the most eeriest one for me with all the heads just sitting there broken
I think that the UCN ending is showing that the spirit within Golden Freddy refuses to rest, and that explains Glamrock Freddy in that ending when he says I am not me. So he finally let's go and watches the sun set on the same hill the others were buried. I think shortly after his soul moves on finally and Freddy dies. As for Afton I think that this shows what his plan was: to escape hell via virus that contains his consciousness through Vanny who unwillingly places the springtrap body into that charging station to await this moment where Afton awakens and regains control of his old body. I don't think he is dead yet, but we'll have to see.

william did not create glitchtrap, it was a glitch in the vr game fazbear entertainment made to make money for the pizzaplex. glitchtrap very much resembles william and is trying to do what he did, kill kids. one game tester, Vanessa, was testing help wanted and glitchtrap then invaded her mind and made her a killer. glitchtrap made a fabric bunny suit, resembling springtrap. once the pizzaplex opened, vanessa was a security guard so she could find children, and murder them. there have been many victims of Vanny(vanessa). In the afton ending of security breach, you can see "freddy fazbears pizza place" which is where fnaf 6 took place and also where henry burned all of the remaining animatronics. after the fire a blob of the animatronics was formed. vanny then transfered glitchtrap's mind into william afton's dead body. william is still in purgatory and now glicthtrap possesed his dead body such as the dead children posessing animatronics. it is a theory that since most of the animatronics survived the fnaf 6 fire, where was micheal afton then? according to matpat, glamrock freddy is supposedly half possesed by micheal which is why he helps gregory because gregory looks like evan(the crying child also victim of the bite of 83 and his little brother that he accedentally killed and threw his life away to make up for it). the blob then takes glitchtrap and supposedly kill him...again. glitchtrap hopefully dies but now we dont know what happened to Vanny.

Now based on the CDs I believe that Vanessa is an Afton and the fact that she says she compartmentalized her father (who is named Bill) is symbolic of how the Glitchtrap was locked away, but then freed. And magically now that the virus is free, so is Afton.

A beautiful ending to a beautiful series
The franchise should’ve ended with UCN. 7 games, 3 novels. A perfectly constructed story. In my opinion the best video game lore out there and my personal favorite story. Matpat’s final timeline video that he made after solving UCN was perfect, but now the 30+ Fazbear Frights stories and 3 more very unnecessary games have made the timeline so messy and complicated and now barely anything in what we thought was the final timeline makes sense anymore. These new additions to the series have also ruined the old games, especially Pizzeria Simulator’s ending. Truly upsetting.
I'm pretty sure Fazbear Frights has some non-canonical stories though??

I think fnaf changed for the better because we’re not going to get much lore out of a tiny room with animatronics that kill you as soon as they move so you can’t even look around although I do like the old fnaf I think we’re going to get much more clues with a free play game with full ability to do whatever you want as long as it’s an option and has multiple endings.

brother fnaf 4 is underrated, it takes you through a journey of emotion the whole game with shadow bonnie’s music box, i always thought specifically that song would work perfect.
Imo Fnaf 1- Fnaf UCN lore has been amazing , after that Help Wanted was a little sketchy about Glitch Trap trying to escape to reality , AR has been offering some information about animatronics and SB didn't have the same feeling like the other game ending's

I think that fnaf lore is one of the best videogame lores ever because the real lore was never 100% sure like they hid it so we'll that it was really hard to know what was real and what was myth. Like obviously it's known now days but I remember the old days when no one knew what happend at the restaurant. Scott never told the full lore and I think that it's the best thing about the game series. It was like a puzzle we had to put the parts to right order and then we would understand the lore. And the puzzles were in different games they were not in one game.
And people had to find the lore them selfs. And there are so many good theory's what happend.

There was no lore at the beginning, Scott did not "Hide" the lore, he didn't knew his games would end up being so popular so the first two just had outright no lore, they where a concept.
The third is the one that showed how desesperated Scott was to make all the gibberish of his previous games make sense, that's why he didn't say anything about what the lore was, it was because he didn't had anything, that was until the community began crafting theories on what they thought the lore was, and Scott just adopted them because they where too good.
That's why FNAF lore is so good, it's because it wasn't crafted by a person, but by a ginormous community. I'm not saying Scott didn't do anything to help his game's lore, he did, but in the majority of cases he just made a game following the lore crafted by his community. And that's in itself more amazing than he being the total mastermind.

Fnaf 1 definitely did have a lore concept. The fandom got big on the first game. There even was a 2014 animation video of the theory of the bite of 87 with foxy. So actually there was. The bite of 87 is one of the fandoms first theory’s and lore peice (THAT WE FOUND OURSELF)
