- There’s a lot of things to do and see in Cheyenne, Wyoming. We’ll share with you how to spend a great day in Wyoming! We go to Curt Gowdy State Park, downtown Cheyenne and Fort Laramie for a fun filed day of adventure. We Spend time exploring downtown Cheyenne take a tour of the BIG BOOTS sculptures, the train depot, the Atlas theatre. Enjoy a tram tour of the city and catch a gun fight demonstration. We spend the night in Curt Gowdy Park as part of our great day in Wyoming. This huge park was both amazing a relaxing with super sites and breathtaking water views. We tour the Wyoming State Capital Building with it’s gold top dome and numerous stained glass windows. We wrap the day up with a great tour of Fort Laramie and explore the wonderful restoration of this famous Northern Plains Military Outpost!

Looks like there is a lot of fun things to do in Wyoming. That is one of the states we still haven't been to yet. So we would love to go check these places out. The state park and capitol building are both beautiful. I love the Boot art you encountered. It is cool tha t you can see a gunfight demonstration too. The Fort at the end was a cool piece of history. Thanks for showing us all the options for things to do and see in the area!

Hi Red and TJ, Wow that park is lovely. We love being outdoors. The lake looks so relaxing! You guys go to some really nice campgrounds. Are they expensive? Love the big cowboy boats. The buildings are beautiful and colorful. Great video. We really enjoyed it.
Thank you so much for watching. This state park was pretty reasonable, as are most state parks. With fees and taxes it was probably between $40-$50 for the night.
Curt Gowdy SP looks so lovely. I like that penalty cause it is getting to be an issue. When we were at Mustang Island SP, the ranger said that they have started a procedure of releasing sites that have been reserved if they don't show up. Love the painted boots. Yes, I love Bill when he wears his boots and cowboy hat. We spent a lot of time in Cheyenne Frontier Days. Bill used to ride in the rodeo, and he and his buddies used to come up for the weekend. Bill never rode in Cheyenne, but he had a great time with buddies there. Then with me after we married. They do have a great capital building. Fort Laramie is very interesting. Love how they have everything set up. Tabsco Sauce huh? 😂😂

Rodeos are a lot of fun. We actually visited one in NJ about two years ago.
We have never been to Wyoming! Great video. Gives us some ideas of what to do when we visit! Those are cool boots! We do like that about the smaller trailers. Can just park anywhere!
We very lucky to be able to park in the street or any parking lot. Only need two spots. We plan to return to Wyoming.
This is very interesting because I just realized this is the first video I've seen about Wyoming, not so many people upload videos of this state unlike New York, California, etc...

What a great trip. We really think they need to do something about people no showing sites, we really have problems with that here in Washington. Loved the state capital tour and Chris Ledoux is one of my favorite all time country singers, didn’t know they had a statue in his honor.

We are hoping to make it to Wyoming this summer. Such a pretty area. All we see is snow right now. Seeing a 🐻 would freak me out! Crazy how empty it is due people reserving and not showing up. Yea, so many places where we want to fly our drone also. You guys are official cowboys now. You guys are hitting so many parts. Will have to reach out to you guys for recommendations. I need to convince my wife I need a bear rug like that!

We use a combination of GoPro Hero8 and Iphone 13 as well as our Canon M6 Mark II and if we are lucky we get to fly our drone for camera footage it is a Mavic Air 2.
Editing it all into one piece can be a challenging event.
