I don't know what rope manufacturer they use but usually a rope should be tagged into service and inspected for damage and then eventually tagged out of service from damage or age which ever comes first
yes yes, i know .. shot this vid before we were certified rope access tech's . the company did not require the use of helmets, but since we got sprat certified we always wear helmets.

Never liked the Petzle ID's. I use a DBI SALA No Worries double stop descender. Best out there in my opinion and I have used many different types.
