I'm not sure this will help. Even if you leave the space for the air flow ... you will get the condensation anyway. And if you plan on "drying" it with the inside air (like forcing air with a fan) ... you will loose the inside heat. I see the video is 3 years old now - have you had a chance to look behind the walls again, to check the condition?
