Guys there is a clip on YT of when BTS were at WEMBLEY STADIUM in 2019 on their LOVE YOUSELF tour, It was at the end where BTS talk to ARMY that they were about to start the last song but ARMY and BIGHIT arranged a surprise for them, ARMY sang a part of YOUNG FOREVER to them BTS were in tears, BTS are only the 12th Artists to have ever had a sold out concert at the legendary WEMBLEY STADIUM and when i saw the clip for the first time it honestly made me proud to be British. hopefully you'll find a descent copy if you want to see it.
Yes and it was such a special moment for the group that they used a recording of this passage as an intro for their song "for youth" years later
@@hobiscrapbts When i became a member of ARMY 10/07/21 and i saw they had been to WEMBLEY in 2019 i was raging i couldn't believe i had missed them, but when they come back and do a world tour 25/26 hopefully they will come back to WEMBLEY and i WILL be there this time 💜🔥💙

This is an anthem for army and BTS. One of plural that BTS/RM wrote directly to army and that are quite special to us.
For sure I’m jealous that y’all get to live life experiencing BTS for the first time. I became ARMY I’m 2020. My mom had just been diagnosed with Parkinson’s and I was going through a really hard time. They always say that BTS finds you and they find you at the lowest point in your life. That was true for me. Enjoy the journey!

This is part of the BU (the storyline bts has) and it’s also part of the hyyh era. Bts’s boss has just confirmed that bts will release an album in 2025 to celebrate the 10 year anniversary oh hyyh. I think they might make songs that trace back to that era. I can’t wait to see what we’ll get. Young forever is a beautiful song, I cried when bts sang this in the sofi stadium. The lyrics hit different now
You hit the nail on the head. ARMYs love watching reactions because we do kind of get to relive our first time with these songs by watching others hear/discover them for the first time. It's especially satisfying watching you guys appreciate the uniqueness that is BTS.

You guys must watch ARMYs singing this song to BTS at Wembley stadium in England! It's powerful & amazing! The boys were so touched they cried. Hearing 60k+ non Korean speakers singing their Korean lyrics let them know they really made it.
10:33 I just love watching reactors check out my favorite songs because my friends (I'm 50) don't let me show them anything BTS related. So it feels like I am showing friends my music when reactors watch & it brings me joy. I have too many songs that are my favs from them. My 1st mv was idol which was a crazy 1st mv, & it took me a while to get into it. But other songs would get recommended, mic drop, fake love, boy with love and blood sweat and tears , followed by DNA and save me, those were my 1st songs and I still love them. Mic drop esp brings me nostalgia because that was the song that also got my kids, and even my late husband (a little bit for him, he wasn't obsessed like us lol) into them. He died last year, so right now my favorite songs are the more emotional ones, and ones that inspire me to keep going. Mikrocosmos, love myself, lights, we are bulletproof the eternal, spring day (always the queen), and also stuff like best of me, am I wrong, attack on bangtan...
I'll shut up now, because in reality, I just love them all it just depends on my mood as to which is my fav. 💜

Yes people have said it SO check it out. Staff at Wimbleton concert put on display instructions to audiences to surprise BTS with a song when they give a sign. So, right before the last song, they flashed the sign and the lyrics and the audience started singing. It's one of the awesomeest moments ever!

just fyi its actually "even if there is no everlasting fan i'm going to keep SINGING" not signing. i think the subs had a typo in it. because he said "norae" in korean which is song/singing i believe!!

I've been noticing since rewatching some of the older mv's have some typos or sometimes had some more direct translations. This is why I'm super thankful to our army translators because website's like Doolset lyrics and youtube channels like Bangtan Subs have brought so much context and meaning we non-Koreans would otherwise not have. And even though now days BANGTANTV puts eng subs on most of their content now I still find there is a lot of old content that still hasn't added them yet. Also Bangtan Subs does a great job of adding additional context for non-Koreans as well as labeling what member said what which is helpful when you are just getting to know the guys still. It was really helpful when I started watching all their bangtan bombs in order. Every time a member made a reference to a Korean show or Korean customs or Jin would make his dad jokes there would be an additional explanation usually at the top of the screen.

The next album is "Wings", its the transition from youth to young adult.
This album is inspired by the book "Demian" by Hermann Hesse, it is a semi-autobiographical Bildungsroman or coming-of-age novel that follows the life of Emil Sinclair (Hesse).
This album includes themes of temptation, loss, chaos, etc...
There are shortfilms by each member that have quoted the book "Demian".
And yes it's great to see people hear a song I love, if they like it, because I get that same excitement! For me, I think Blood Sweat and Tears MV hooked me forever. It's about temptations. And they do an awesome job with good and evil theme. They're the Kings of attention to every detail in a MV. I watched that thing so many times!!!! Lol

The big secret is their lyrics draw you in, in a way that paints a picture tells a story. It’s an iconic song. Nothing will ever top 80k Army singing this as a surprise to BTS at Wimbledon (which they sold out in 30 mins).
This song always makes me feel all of the feelings…I have such affection for these guys and this big dream they’ve shared with us. My life doesn’t have almost anything in common with theirs but their vulnerability about their own lives helps me process my own stuff and keep walking forward, we are all humans…BTS makes some hard moments and some fun moments and some boring moments all just a bit better
11:36 - The song that got me and made me a fan was The Truth Untold. I still get goosebumps when I listen to it and then ON (Kinetic Manifesto film) and Baepsae (silverspoon) Dance practice solidified my love and made me an ARMY. I loved their voices and felt happy watching them have fun. Then I fell down the rabbit hole and the personality videos and guides and documentaries made me so protective of these 7 guys - unlike anything I've ever had with any of my other favourite bands.
You're still a long way to go but I can't wait 'til you're on "Yet To Come" MV. You'd pick up so many references of their previous MVs for sure.
They say ARMY was FOUND by BTS. They helped me overcome a hardship time in my life. Their artistry, talent, watching RUN BTS, helped me. I really cheer for them and appreciate their dedication. 💜

The Wings era (the next album) was ongoing when I first discovered BTS, and i basically lost my mind when I first saw the Blood Sweat Tears MV and their award show performances from this time period. I traveled halfway across the US just to go to one of their concerts during the Wings tour (which only went to 2 cities in the US). I definitely have a soft spot for the Wings album and the mini album that came right after it since I got to experience my first BTS comeback (new album/single/era) almost immediately after becoming a fan.

Ah something I just remembered another reason it feels short other then it is a shorter song is the song structure is different, all the rappers have their verses one after another (RM, Suga, then J-Hope) then the chorus of the song kicks in. They have some other songs that also have a different structure then a typical song, they go with what feels right for the song. They have another song structured similar but also different at the same time called "A Supplementary Story: You Never Walk Alone" a b-side from their album "You Never Walk Alone", I adore this song it's really cool sounding while also having an uplifting message and it's the last song on that album.
As a pre-debut fan, who followed them since the very beginning I have to agree with a lot of comments fellow ARMYs have written. I also love to watch reactions of people who discover BTS for the very first time. That way I experience the whole journey again.
We are a fandom that is very emotional attached not only to the members of BTS but also to their musical journey.

This is my ultimate favorite song ever
I first heard of BTS since 2017 and became Army in early 2020. When I dig deep into their story and lyrics, I always question to myself why I didn't find them earlier and still wonder how could it be if I had found them since then. I mean, those times that my age can relate to their storyline back then (HYYH era). Anyway, even though I'm a bit late, but the MOTS era is kinda impact and related to me.

Yes, that's kind of why I watch reactions. I really like watching people be surprised by and fall in like/love with BTS. I kind of feel like it takes about three listens to get past it being a "new" song for me. The first is usually how the song just sounds as a whole. Then it's really paying attention to the lyrics - sometimes twice - because there are usually layers upon layers upon layers. Then it's kind of pairing that knowledge with the music, choreography, and MV (if they're available). There are things I pick up on to this day for songs I've listened to and MVs I've watched a bajillion times. There is definitely something wonderful about hearing or watching something new to me and suddenly sitting up straight and saying, "Wait... did they just...?"
This song is sort of like a transition from youth to adulthood, its like that moment of realizatiin you have when you suddenly know you will change bcs growing up is exactly that and you want to live it to the foolest, but as youth itself it vanishes with time inevitably. Listening to this song is really melancholic and thinking back when they released it i cant help but get teary eyed bcs of the emotions and memories it brings out.
I keep supporting them like the very first day and i will keep on doing it until the end.

The song after that is "Blood, Sweat, & Tears" which is heavily inspired by the book "Demian" by Hermann Hesse, RM even recites a quote from the book. Demain tells the story of a young boy named Emil Sinclair and his childhood growing up. Emil struggles to find his new self-knowledge in the immoral world and is caught between good and evil, which is represented as the light and dark realms. "Demian is replete with both Jungian archetypes and Jungian symbolism. In addition, psychoanalysis helped Hesse identify psychological problems which he had experienced in his youth, including internal tension caused by a conflict between his own carnal instincts and the strict moralism of his parents. BTS has a later album "Map of the Soul:7" that dives into the concepts by the psychiatrist Carl Jung. I think your gonna be surprised, they are extremely versatile. I would skip the wings short films for now as it's their fictional storyline, it's only gonna confuse you sense you are doing just the music right now. The first thing I watched from them was Mic Drop Remix MV, I was like the guys are good. Then I watched Fake Love MV and that sealed it for me. I started watching all their MV's then their other content. I was in denial that I was already army for 2 months it took that long for me to admit it. I listened the mainly hard rock, rock alternative, and Metal. I listened to stuff like Tool, Alice in Chains, Mudvayne, Deftones, Chevelle, Disturbed, Linkin Park, Flaw etc. I've never been much of a pop fan but I've always been drawn to lyrics and messages in music. Their songs drew me in but then I learned who they are as people and couldn't help but love these guys. They are so genuine humble caring human beings that inspire so many. They have some great title tracks but I really love their b-sides even more.
OMG now WINGS album follows, someone needs to explain to them about the short films and that they need to listen to the song before watching each one.
Theyre only doing title songs, Im just going to comment about the Demien and the concepts, so they may atleast have an understanding.

You guys are great reactors. I just found them this year so all the songs are pretty fresh for me. However, my first song was fake love and I really wish I could relive watching that music video for the first time. It blew me away. I watched it over again 15 times right then. Not kidding. Instant obsession. I often joke that if that wasn't the first song I heard and if it was a different song like dynamite (great song, not knocking it) but I may not have gone down the rabbit hole. I am a sucker for songs in minor key and BTS are kings at those but the three English songs are more major key, upbeat pop, and wouldn't have pulled me in the same.

I totally watch reaction videos to relive finding BTS. I had no idea I would become a fan when I first just looked them up out of just mild curiosity, I’ve never been a fan of any boy groups or really any other connection that made me have any suspicion that it would be more than a few minutes of Googling. 😅 Then I fell so so hard without even knowing what was happening to me. Sadly this means I don’t have any idea even what I looked at first or second or third or what all I thought as one link led to another led to another…😅 It was just so unexpected.
Later, you guys need to break down the Bangtan universe BU of this era of music videos. I have yet to deep dive and discover each characters story. It’s like a puzzle and we have to piece it together through their videos.

Keep in mind up until this point BTS had already released 8 Korean albums: 1. single album "2 Cool 4 Skool"(June 2013), 2. mini album "O!RUL8, 2?"(Sep. 2013), 3. mini album "Skool Luv Affair"(Feb. 2014), 4. "Skool Luv Affair (special edition)" (May 2014) a repackage with new songs added, 5. full album "Dark & Wild"(Aug. 2014) , 6. mini album HYYH pt.1 or "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life pt. 1" (April 2015), 7. mini album HYYH pt.2 or "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life pt.2"(Nov. 2015), and 8. a compilation album "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever" a repackage combining pt.1 and pt.2 with new songs added (May 2016). The next album is Wings which is their 9th album (Oct. 2016). This is not even including their Japanese albums (that have a few original Japanese songs & Japanese versions of their Korean songs) like full studio album "Wake Up" (Dec 2014) and multiple singles albums. I personally usually prefer their original Korean versions of their songs then the Japanese versions but their Japanese original tracks are amazing. I not too long ago rediscovered their Japanese original songs like Wake Up, Like it pt.2, Wishing On A Star, Crystal Snow, Don't Leave Me and the list goes on to all their newer tracks too.

For this song the imagery may be somewhat confusing for you since it is part of the BU. You watched I Need You and Run , but there is also another video that ties in and has some of those scenes. That video has several of the songs playing throughout that are included in this album.
Also, not sure how deep you plan on going into the next album, Wings. Blood Sweat and Tears has an MV, but there are also “Short Films” that tell a story. If you watch those you’ll have to keep in mind that the novel Demian by Herman Hesse was a major inspiration for the imagery and has ties with the BU as well. 😊

The Truth Untold was the song that hot me. In 2019 my elder daughter was a fan and tried to show me but i was too close-minded to listen. My incorrect view of KPop was that it was cheesy pop music and i am a rock and metal head. In Sept 2020 my younger daughter was doing the dishes listeninv to music and i heard V's baritone voice singing with such emotion "I'm so afraid" and i was hooked. That was the start....
This song is so special for ARMY and BTS, you have to watch the video of us, ARMY singing it as a surprise for BTS at Wembley stadium. Just imagine more than 60k people singing those korean lyrics to them. It was an emotional and beautiful night. 💜💜

some of the subs are slightly off theyre not wrong per say its just the person who translated it misspelled and got confused because 'I" and "you" are very similar in korean but translated into english can change the meaning slightly
so for the lines "even if YOU fall and get hurt I keep running toward my dream" should be "even if I fall and get hurt I keep running toward my dream" or " even if YOU fall and get hurt YOU keep running toward your dream"
it shouldnt be i and you in the two sentences it has to be one or the other to make sense in english but like i said the korean words for i and you are very similar so its easy to mix up.
and like someone else said it shouldve said singing not signing. small things that change the meaning of the song slightly. :)
