RM once said “It is ok to be lost. No matter what the age, you will get lost sometimes. Even my dad has felt lost.” I love them for their music. Even as a teenager you are put into a rat race. You are 14yrs old starting high school & everyone wants you to start setting career goals. Now you are working for grades. Colleges tell you to have activities so whatever free time you did have is now spent joining as much as you can to look good. Then you graduate. Next step is are you going to college if not then it is straight to get a job. Life starts to be like Yoongi said “CTRL C, CTRL V.” It wasn’t until my teen brought BTS into my life & the conversations we have had due to their thoughts & music did I pull my head out of the sand & look back. I refuse to have her live that life. I want her to enjoy being a kid. Honestly a little selfish on my part because I get to be a kid with her (Forever Young). I think to be forever young is to let go of things, always stay curious, always try something new with no fear of failure & find the simple joys of everyday things: playing video games with my kids, car rides with my girl, my hubby making me coffee in the morning. I find it funny sometimes that all this happened because 7 guys from Korea.

A similar situation happened with me when I introduced my mom to BTS, explained the lyrics, the theories and gradually her views changed, she too has changed🥰 Previously, we didn't have a healthy relationship, she would make me do stuff cuz she/the society thought will be beneficial. Ok I wasn't expecting much but wow, you really went beyond my expectations... That's why BTS/BigHit/Hybe is on a different level, this Universe they created is insane. Imagine the mood board for this and it's wild to think that this all started with Namjoon’s lyrics. One of the most insane brands (BTS) that are ever created. I would love to see a documentary that would show us how they did it. From almost bankrupt to a Billion-Dollar conglomerate.
Look up Rise of Bangtan on YT. It is a fan-made documentary that is still ongoing, but it does go through everything in BTS's history very well, definitely recommend it.

I really think the BTS rappers are so good at showing how melodic and wave-like rap can be. Such different styles and I love their emotional cadences, which I think they show off really well in this song. I loved hip hop before BTS anyway but I appreciate that they strive to be so versatile. Probably why I like your music so much too Knox! This is Jimin's favorite song of theirs. He has "Young" tattooed on the back of his left arm and "Forever" on the back of his right arm. :) There is also a great video from Wembley during their tour where the staff and audience worked together to surprise BTS by singing the chorus from this. Imagine being in the iconic Wembley Stadium and having an audience of whom the vast majority are not native Korean speakers, singing your Korean lyrics to you. T_T
Everyone, us ARMY and BTS, was emotionally drained by the end of it but so so full of mutual love and gratefulness. It was the best concert of my life (i'm 44 so, lots of punk and rock concerts until I was hit by BTS, they were what I was missing all along).

I don't know if someone already mentioned this, but Young forever is a very special song for BTS, specially for Jimin. Back then they thought that, when they grew older, fans would abandon them and that's why they wanted to stay young forever, to be able to perform on stage forever and be with us forever. What they don't know is that their age doesn't matter to us, that we will never leave them, even if they are older and not able to perform with the same energy as before. I've always known that young forever was a song with many many layers and references to the whole of the Bangtan Universe but I've never been able to fully process the visuals and lyrics and understand what exactly is being portrayed. As with all the other songs and MVs BTS constantly gift us with. Your reaction and analysis of their songs really shed so much light on the meanings and lessons every song hopes to put out there. It's really cool the way you are able to piece most things together like that, and in turn these videos have made me appreciate all these songs even more. Thank you so much for doing this Knox!
The rest of the album "Most beautiful moment in life" is amazing, House of cards is just the vocalist but that song brings me to tears every time. Next on the list for the BU is the "Wings" album, and boy are you in for a ride, expect lots of twists and mind bending moments. There is one thing that you should know, ⚠️The BU works on multiple parallel worlds of different timelines and the main point is that we see it mainly from Jin's perspective. I won't spoil it too much but I suggest you check out the short webtoon "Save Me" but only after you go through the entirety of the Wings album⚠️ in any case Knox, I really seriously respect you for taking the time to dive into the BU and I love watching you dive deep and pick apart the storyline, you have even brought some things that we haven't picked up before to attention. I was going thru a hard time in life and I thought I was never going to get out of this complex maze but I found my way out eventually. He does the work that so many western reporters don’t when researching and explaining BTS and Kpop. He encapsulates so well how truly phenomenal BTS is in the Kpop industry, the pop industry, and the music industry as a whole. It helps that with how well he does his research, he shows so much respect for eastern concepts and their impact on the western world. It’s beautiful. One of the best Kpop/BTS videos I have ever seen.

I love your reactions, I like how closely you pay attention. I always get caught up in the song and I have a hard time paying attention to the language of the video. It's nice to pay attention with you. You're one of the reactors (and I've seen many) who has managed to differentiate the members the fastest with the least amount of videos. I think it's because you pay so much attention to both sound and image. The best would be lives because there is less production on the voices so for instance Tiny Desk Concert is great for that. Or Armypedia.

I’ve been to dozens of different artist concerts before, and was a huge ARMY in 2015-2018 when I finally got to see BTS live twice and I will never forget those concerts. Compared to every other artist I’ve seen live which were all amazing experiences, the BTS ones were simply a different level of experience. I remember everyone singing in the cold rain along to this song.. chills every time I remember it. And the finale where they did Mikrokosmos as the outro and had fireworks while it was still cold and raining.. absolutely beautiful
During the outro speech, RM also spoke to the crowd and said for 5 years they had rarely had rain during a show, but that night BTS was blessed by the GOD OF RAIN 🌧️. Legendary moment 😆

My take: The pieces of white cloth on the fence - it's a connection to the Fire MV, where pieces of cloth was also used on the chainlink fence to write out "Youth". In this MV, it's in pieces, and it's signalling that they are saying goodbye to their youth. That's how I see it anyway.

Actually it was Jin riding behind the boys and JK stops and turns around and smiles slightly. JK was wearing different clothes when he got hit by the car. JK is the one singing. Came for a second rewatch today as I really love the way you dissected this one and tied it together with the BU. I see this song as a bridge from the first BU album phase (the most beautiful moment in life) to the second album phase (wings). It gets taken to a whole new level in Wings. The Wings short films are next (1-7) and each one focusses on one member/character. There is a snippet in each one of a BTS solo for each of them so it would be a good idea to do their solo song followed by the short film for each reaction? Hope that makes sense. I've always known that young forever was a song with many many layers and references to the whole of the Bangtan Universe but I've never been able to fully process the visuals and lyrics and understand what exactly is being portrayed. As with all the other songs and MVs BTS constantly gift us with. Your reaction and analysis of their songs really shed so much light on the meanings and lessons every song hopes to put out there. It's really cool the way you are able to piece most things together like that, and in turn these videos have made me appreciate all these songs even more. Thank you so much for doing this Knox!
The rest of the album "Most beautiful moment in life" is amazing, House of cards is just the vocalist but that song brings me to tears every time. Next on the list for the BU is the "Wings" album, and boy are you in for a ride, expect lots of twists and mind bending moments. There is one thing that you should know, ⚠️The BU works on multiple parallel worlds of different timelines and the main point is that we see it mainly from Jin's perspective. I won't spoil it too much but I suggest you check out the short webtoon "Save Me" but only after you go through the entirety of the Wings album⚠️ in any case Knox, I really seriously respect you for taking the time to dive into the BU and I love watching you dive deep and pick apart the storyline, you have even brought some things that we haven't picked up before to attention. I love how you break down your interpretation of the music by BTS. As a die hard Army fan, I became an Army after this amazing song and it really touched me mentally and physically. I was going thru a hard time in life and I thought I was never going to get out of this complex maze but I found my way out eventually. BTS literally saved me from the hard ships in life and I don't know where I'd be without these 7 amazing human beings on this planet. I do recommend you breakdown Black Swan in your next video. It helps that with how well he does his research, he shows so much respect for eastern concepts and their impact on the western world. It’s beautiful. One of the best Kpop/BTS videos I have ever seen.

I love your reactions, I like how closely you pay attention. I always get caught up in the song and I have a hard time paying attention to the language of the video. It's nice to pay attention with you. You're one of the reactors (and I've seen many) who has managed to differentiate the members the fastest with the least amount of videos. I think it's because you pay so much attention to both sound and image. The best would be lives because there is less production on the voices so for instance Tiny Desk Concert is great for that. Or Armypedia.

I’ve been to dozens of different artist concerts before, and was a huge ARMY in 2015-2018 when I finally got to see BTS live twice and I will never forget those concerts. Compared to every other artist I’ve seen live which were all amazing experiences, the BTS ones were simply a different level of experience. I remember everyone singing in the cold rain along to this song.. chills every time I remember it. And the finale where they did Mikrokosmos as the outro and had fireworks while it was still cold and raining.. absolutely beautiful
During the outro speech, RM also spoke to the crowd and said for 5 years they had rarely had rain during a show, but that night BTS was blessed by the GOD OF RAIN 🌧️. Legendary moment 😆

My take: The pieces of white cloth on the fence - it's a connection to the Fire MV, where pieces of cloth was also used on the chainlink fence to write out "Youth". In this MV, it's in pieces, and it's signalling that they are saying goodbye to their youth. That's how I see it anyway.

Hi, I am back. Good reaction, ty. Love this song. It's so beautiful. The visuals were wonderful too with all of them alone in the maze looking for each other. Actually it was Jin riding behind the boys and JK stops and turns around and smiles slightly. JK was wearing different clothes when he got hit by the car. JK is the one singing. Came for a second rewatch today as I really love the way you dissected this one and tied it together with the BU. I see this song as a bridge from the first BU album phase (the most beautiful moment in life) to the second album phase (wings). It gets taken to a whole new level in Wings. The Wings short films are next (1-7) and each one focusses on one member/character. There is a snippet in each one of a BTS solo for each of them so it would be a good idea to do their solo song followed by the short film for each reaction? Hope that makes sense.
