I often find that less is more when it comes to lures (best to be an expert at generating strikes with one or two lures than to be decent at it with 1,000 lures). what I don't like about mystery tackle boxes you get a lot of sample packs like 2-4 plastic baits per package. and you're also right about the hooks not coming with the bait to Match
Yes, I agree that the proper rigging hooks or jig heads need to be included along with the plastic bait packets... some had them, but most didn't. But I'm guessing that 90%+ of their subscribers already have their favorite hooks and jig heads to rig the soft plastics with, so it's likely not a problem for most of their customers.
Great vid! I am looking for a jigging rod for Grouper,Snapper BSB and Aj''s and was wondering if I should get a heavy action jigging Rod or an extra heavy Rod? With a XH rod can I feel A Bsb?
from what I've seen granted I do not fish saltwater but im glad i went with the MTB XL! Definitely worth the couple extra bucks to get full packs of baits and much better lures overall IMO. But cool video i cant believe you were able to save them all year before opening the boxs, unless they worked with you and sent all at once maybe? ~Screamin Drags 🎣

The zmans were probably the best lures in the box. I caught my PB redfish on one and have caught loads more fish on zman lures than most competitors. Kind of a bummer they didn't include Berkley gulps in any of the packages :(
Bring back the BEARD, Luke!! After I grew out my goatee to a full beard, I starting catching more fish. Research shows that beards hold scent and attract more fish. So bring back the BEARD!!
Victor Muñoz exactly. There practically nothing we could use. Like give me a few shrimp fries or a few 8oz jigs. That stuff is too small and light. I’d be pissed if I got this as my saltwater box.

Pool = Unfortunate No

Please try the kudu shrimp. Favorite shrimp over DOA and savage gear. Look at it in the water. IT IS AMAZING

Salty Angler berkleys are probably expensive.
