I went with the Neo with extra batteries and the N3 Goggles and motion controller. I order the N3 controller to use around people because I fly alone, without a spotter and to give the Neo a little more range. I can also use it with the Mini 4 if I get one. But I do have an Autel Nano+ that is good for night time flying. I am looking forward to a Neo+
Yeah, a Neo+ could be interesting for sure, maybe a bit more acro ability and a slightly better camera is in the works for the next Neo. Still thinking the Flip is a miss...
About the Flip...Meh. I think, for only C$300 more, I would choose the Mini 4 Pro Fly More Pkg at Costco Canada. The Mini 4 Pro gets you much more features and performance for that price difference. Now, If I had a larger drone such as an Air 3S (which I have), I would still choose the Neo over the Flip and not just because of the price difference, but because the NEO has FPV capabilities, fit's in your pocket and probably more sturdy. The Neo is a better offset. Flip Flop comes to mind here.
Totally agree with your perspective. If I get the Flip it will only be for an honest evaluation for the channel not because I think its a good option...
