  • In this video I remove the magnets, Oil and lube, add Quick Slick tires and then install and adjust lead weights to saee what kind of performance I can get out of this car

      I agree, we race these at my club but I have been using a loaner car, now that I bought this I had to take the mags outs to get used to it

      Funny I didn't either now im interested in trying. I was going to stay with magnets......hmmmm now I don't know

      @@SlotCarWildman For weight I used self adhesive lead weight from Slot Car Corner. I put it in the following locations: Where the magnet was, on the side/running boards and on top of where the wires clip together

      I have some sheets coming from SCC I didn't know which one to buy so bought 1 of each lol . Gotta learn some how

    my slot car store i visit is currently selling some of these cars. they have a nice carrera track that's 34ftx9ft analog. thanks for a nice heads up review!

    Great job Gene ! Would you mine telling me how much weight you put in and was it all in the center of the chassis?? Any thing to help me get mine to run better with out the magnets! Lol

      I believe I added about 6 grams of weight. I first had some behind the motor but moved it after my first test run, I will post a picture on the community tab showing the total weight of the car and where i placed it

      Thank you, I wasn't sure about these cars until i ran a loaner at my club, they are a lot of fun. I will have to get a running mate for it

    I understand the stock guides are garbage. Did you do any work/upgrade to the guide?

      I hadn't at the time of the video, but I have since replaced the stock guide with a Sloting Plus SP101004 Universal 1/32 EVO Deep Wood Guide
