Gene: Maybe I missed it but what tires and prep did the cars have done? Trued, glued and treated rear rubber and trued and non friction applications has made a big difference for me with Policar slot cars, who has a similar home track to yours. I use a Monster Tire Tweak Jorge recommends with lighter fluid that makes rubber super high traction.

Just a standard tune out of the box plus Quick Slicks tires unglued and untrued
