I think norovo's excitement for the armadillos is merely a cover for him to commit mass genocide against the species. How many times did we see him "defend" when he could have saved an armadillo. I think we can see the pecking order in his armies.

Maybe you play some more custom maps with lots of wealth to really see how factory works at his fullest. Inferno also benefits if you have tons of money. But as long as you play homm3, I will enjoy it 😊

So happy to see another homm3 series! I wonder if it will be another nail-biter like some of your earlier homm3 series. Like I said before, it's amazing how much of an expert you have become at the game, and sometimes I miss the creativity you had to use to get around almost impossible obstacles. Can't wait how this one will play out!

Been looking forward to this for a while now! Been slowly playing my first playthrough of factory and it's pretty fun
Edit: watched now and that's a tough starting zone, no dwarven treasuries and a lack of treasure chests. I've noticed that the treasure zones are ridiculously tough on the random maps now.

It is indeed quite hard. I just finished the second map and it was tough. However, what it seems impossible at the beginning it turned out possible. The narration/lore is very good and the feeling of overcoming the map was worth it 😅. Try it out!
@@Raziel_J I got to a point where I only had Zog left to defeat, but he was to strong form me. Does he get stronger the longer I wait?
@@nukeape3213 doesn't seem that much. I fought him on the first week of month 5. The key to defeat him is to recruit in all the castles and dwellings of Stronghold around the map. That in conjunction with your Factory army should suffice.
@@nukeape3213 almost forgot. It is highly recommended that you have equipped with the anti lighting collar (to avoid thunder attacks on your archers). In any case, if you are struggling that much, there is one way to cheese it: use the teleport spell on your halflings to place them in the middle of the arena surronded by stones. There is one free hex where you can place them without the threat of being attacked. That and the forgetfulness spell on his archers. Hope this helps, good luck!
Why didn't you go along the road week 2? Usually it's the best strategy - breaking into zones, taking towns, accumulating power on the way, looking for creature banks and ultimately control spells
I don't understand it either. He should have broken into the swamp zone on the left, rather than trying to break to a "resources area", which are usually heavily guarded and there are no enemy players.
Nice demonstration of this faction so far. Also, anyone know of a way of getting into the text files and changing the name of that unit to "Sailor"?

Really happy to see the Factory update finally release! However, it's not showing up in-game for me in HOTA, I've updated and everything. Is there something I'm missing that I need to do to get it in-game?
It should definitely be available if you're on 1.7.0. If it isn't, it may be related to your map choice? Otherwise I'm not really sure, sorry

Is the halfling adobe an acrobat tho?
Ok real question: why do you wait with the halflings so often, even if the enemy isnt in full range dont you waste a turn of dmg??
in 1:20:00 you could've protected your main armadillo stack by bringing any 1-stack near the big stone thus avoiding breath attack. I mean, yeah they moraled but still would be worth it.
I think the random map generator always starts you in your home terrain. Or maybe it generates your home terrain around your starting town.

He should have gone alone the road after a couple of weeks and try to get more resources and probably another castle.
Feel like the zone to the west was the way 2 weeks ago. Hindsight of course, easy to say now.
On first glance Felt like a slower start than you usually have However having the Gantry opened and building will see quick power spike.
it would be interesting if you do 1 rampart vs 7 factories or the other way around

Hi. I need some help with mods. I m looking for one that lets u create bigger maps and the second one which allows u to have more skill slots on every hero. I believe it's 10 instead of 8. I have Hd mod but I don't want horn of the abyss. I don't like how the game feels in this expansion. Do u have any suggestions?
Get ERA III. It has bigger maps and a huge amount of mods available including one which lets you have 10 instead of 8. Easiest way to install it is the Heroes 3 Launcher

Grenadiers early are OP
Too much pondering and choosing poorly in your first few weeks. Tough starting area with few resources to collect. Your knowledge was high, but lack of topping up those spell points for not wanting to waste a day or two collecting them cost your units dearly. But it's fun to get off to a struggle and not run away with the game so soon. Will we see another player break through to you in part 2? Could be a tight defence if they do! Looking forward to the next instalment.
I always have mixed feelings about units that have a sacrifice mechanic but deal damage.
In this case it´s kinda throwing away army numbers with the automatons.
Dunno.
I'd love to see an xcom style of this by firaxis - tbh not many modern games are better than Heroes

this is Factory. Unreleased town called Forge. It's different towns.
